Although not centrally located for tourists, the hotel, part of a group of hotels, proved to be entirely satisfactory for a 2 night stopover
Very convenient, good value for money!

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's very conveniently located in Hanzomon and I loved the fact that I could go for a run around the Imperial Palace every morning. Although there is only one restaurant in the hotel (Chinese), there is a good number of food outlets and convenience stores within the vicinity. The hotel is also located close to Ginza and Ichigaya, with good public transport connections to Shinjuku, Roppongi and other places in Tokyo. I don't really have any negative comments, apart from the rooms being slightly on the smaller side. However, this is the norm for Japanese business hotels, and actually this one compares well to other hotels I have stayed in previously. I checked into this hotel twice within one week and would definitely use it again in the future.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't miss going for a jog or run around the Imperial Palace!

Not all hotel (even the 4 star hotel) may not provide coffee and english tea pack in the room. Monterey Hanzomon provide Green tea, coffee and english tea in sachets. They provide a very complete range of toiletries to the guest. For example, tooth brush with tooth paste, hair clip, Razor, soap, shampoo and conditioner. All in 2 sets.
- Hotel Feature Tip : You can buy the Salt Bath from the lobby counter at a reasonable price for good hot bath after a tiring day of walking in Tokyo. It help blood circulation.
