small, a bit dirty, with disorganized, snooty staff
The Monterey La Soeur Ginza Hotel Tokyo is located close to subway trains and is walking distance from Yakitori Alley and the Tsijuki Fish Market. Lots of good restaurants and shopping around; close to post office as well; easy access to JR train and Tokyo Station. The rooms are tiny and need a paint job, and the staff can be a bit cold and stuck up. The restaurant, while good with the food, needs a better seating system; queues way too long.

5 minutes to the heart of Ginza - 15 minute walk to Tokyo Station.
Restaurant Tip : There's a great restaurant down the block at the corner of Yanagi-Dori in the basement... Little English but good food at reasonable prices.

Would stay there again.
Shopping Tip : All designer labels that are found in the rest of the world are in Ginza. Not worth making a special trip just for designer labels shopping though.
