Location, efficient and friendly service, safety.
Hair blower in room is too weak it takes longer to dry hair, body wash smells like medicine, shower control is difficult to adjust.
In spite of the cons I listed above, NET will be my base every eve of my departure from Japan. I feel safe here. This is important because I travel alone most of the time. I also like its easy access to downtown Narita City, and of course to Narita Airport.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Study well the Circle bus schedule and that of the hotel shuttle bus to make the most of your stay.

Good service, value for money, location
It would be great to also have free coffee, not just tea, in the room.
For the past several years, Narita Excel Tokyu has been my lay-over hotel prior to my early morning flight from Japan. I like it because: the staff are effiicent, courteous and friendly; rooms are clean; it is within easy access of Narita International Airport and downtown Narita City which is good easpecially for business travelers who just move from one meeting room to another.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Ride out the Circle bus through its entire route and get to see how quaint and pretty Narita City (or part of its) is. And for only JPY200! Get off at the stop you find of most interest to you. Anyway there is another Circle bus that will come along (see schedule available from the Narita Excel Tokyu concierge) to take you back to the hotel.

- Can easily be transported to and from airport.
- Friendly staff.
- Phone calls out is too expensive.
The hotel has a very friendly, English speaking staff. The bar in the upper floor has a very nice ambience with a nice view of the city. It is quite a bit far from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo where you would need to take the train. The staff will help you get to Tokyo if needed.
Hotel Feature Tip : Learn to use the public phones or use phone cards. The in-room phones are expensive.

We were very pleased with our choice. We expected the room to be smaller but were surprised to find plenty of space. A delightful hotel which we would recommend to everyone.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Get to know the train, it is very handy to get around Tokyo.

The Naritasaan Temple was well worth a visit - the 'blue circle' bus takes you there directly for 200 yen, or the free hotel shuttle bus takes you into town. Can walk to the temple from town (15 minutes).
