The holel staff at the front entrance were keen and helpful and bags weer taken to our rooms with no difficulty. The counter staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was straightforward as we had pre-booked . The room was very well cleaned and contained the usual range of towells and toiletries . The morning buffet breakfast was well cooked and prepared with enough variety for just about everyone's taste I would have thought .The courtesy bus to Narita was efficient , left on the second and arrived smoothly and quickly . The driver was courteous and kindly loaded and unloaded our suitcases . Overall , a very good experience.

It was slightly difficult to finf one's way around the hotel , especially on such a brief visit. perhaps internal direction signs in English to restaurants, elevators etc might be improved ?

All in all a very good experience with no complaints of any kind , room and bathroom clean and tidy , an excellent breakfast and efficient reception and porter staff . Our request for the loan of a bathroom scales to weigh suitcases and the use of a LAN cable was met quickly and in a very pleasant and co-operative manner .

Bus to Narita airport, good breakfast, value for money

For overnight stay it was ok. Gym and swimming pool were not operational as they were renovated.

This is nice hotel and reasonably priced. If you need an overnight stay near Narita, this is ideal. Staff was efficient, bus was on time, we would recommend it to anyone for the same purpose.

Hotel Feature Tip : Ask for a room with a view of golf course. I liked its tranquility.

There is a nice park

I think price for this room is too high.

Very friendly personal, they speak english very well unlike in other hotels in Japan. Very clean room. Breakfast is a bit too expensive (you need to pay about 2500 yen), but everything is very fresh and you can certanly find something that will match yours taste. There is also small shop where you can buy snacks for evening or breakfast.

closeness to the airport and Narita village.Complimentary transport to both.Availability of varied food choices even self service sandwiches etc.

Only real cons - the hardness of the pillows and not much choice of English speaking channels on the TV. CNN can be very boring.

On previous visits to Tokyo, we had only minimum stop overs between flights. The last couple of transits we have spent at least two night stops, mainly because of the situation of the hotel, the complimentary transport to the shopping mall, train station and the airport, and its variety of availabe food. The staff are friendly, helpful and very courteous. We enjoy our stay at the View very much.

Its close proximity to the airport. The dinner buffet downstairs was proffesional and the rooms are basic and neat. The quility of food was terrific. The buffet was very resonably priced.

I went to get some toothpaste from the store near reception at 7-00am and it was not open until 8-00 I think especially for people in transit they need access to small shopping items constantly.

I stayed at the Narita veiw hotel for 2 nights and was there in between international transit flights. From when I walked out of the plane to opening my hotel door took 1hr 10mins, talk about Japenese efficiency. The staff at reception were very helpful and would not hesitate to book at your hotel again .

Travel tip : Was not there long enough to sight see.

We enjoyed the cleanliness of the facility, the extensive buffet, the convenient airport jitney, luggage storage and bellman service.

The hotel is laid out elegantly but very confusingly and it is hard to find the elevators to the rooms on the lobby floor.

We stayed for one night , went away for one week and returned for one night prior to flying home. The staff were pleasant and courteous, the airport bus punctual, food was plentiful and excellent in the buffet, and reasonably priced. Breakfast selection was very extensive. We had a lovely view of the golf course and the room was clean and quiet. The shower gels smelled really wonderful.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We bought the japan rail pass and the hotel airport bus took us right to the station for free. We were able to access the whole of Japan right from that site.

1.near airport. 2.easy to get shuttle bus to hotel and airport

state of the rooms

It was near the airport. The trip to and fro the airport was easy and pleasant. The staff was fast with check in procedures. However, the state of the room was not up to our expectations as the lobby looked reasonably nice. The room had a damp feel to it. The door didnt seemed quite secured to me.I was glad it was just a short overnight stay. Nice buffet breakfast but not that cheap.

Impressive lobby, decent shop in hotel for sundries and ok for evening walk outside.

For the price, we were surprised that the bathrooms were dingy and closet size. Hotel lobby and grounds do not match the small, late 70's decor of the rooms. The many choices for food on 1st floor were not very good. We did better buying noodles, juice, banana and breakfast roll in convenience store on 1st floor. It was 1/3 the cost and tasted much better.

I was very relieved when I saw the beautiful statue, gardens and lighting as we drove up to hotel entrance, as I was not familiar with Narita. The staff was very efficient, friendly and helpful. The room was small, but sufficient for 1 night stopover. Brown, beige and dated decor. The bathroon was tiny and dingy. Surprised about grime buildup in shower, sink, floor corners and around fixtures. Laminate material difficult to keep clean in a small, cramped, moist place.

Shopping Tip : Buy from the convenience store on first floor for brkfst avoid buffet at restaurant on 1st floor for lunch and dinner-not very tasty.

only 10 min to terminal 1,13min to terminal 2. Staff were friendly.

The hotel room I stayed in was old and the air conditioning wasnt the best. Couldnt open a window since it was sealed.

Conveniently located close to Narita International airport. Frequency of the shuttle buses was well scheduled. I didnt have dinner at the hotel and cant comment of the dining. Staff were friendly and very helpful. They also offer a free shuttle bus into Narita town which is approximately 15min drive although the buses stop running to early for a true night out on the town. Best plan to take a taxi ( approx 20USD ) back from Narita town if you want to stay out late.

Quiet, good beds, decent breakfast, shuttle worked as advertised -both from Narita JR stations and to the airport.

We weren't asked whether we'd prefer a smoking or non-smoking room (we'd booked a non-smoking and got a smoking); bilingual button on TV remote didn't work, and no one on staff knew how to fix it.

This was a pretty good airport hotel - a cut above the usual business hotels in terms of room and bathroom size. The staff tried hard to be helpful, and generally succeeded. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The shuttle from Narita JR station was very very crowded, but the driver coped good-naturedly and was also very helpful with luggage. The shuttle to the airport was efficiently organized. I'd recommend this as a place to stay overnight near the airport, although it is far away from any sights or shopping.

Hotel Feature Tip : The shuttle to the hotel leaves from in front of a convenience store about a 2-minute walk from Narita JR station. It's worth it to try and get a place at the front of the line if you're early enough, to ensure you have a seat and room for your bags.

Quiet, polite staff, nice environment. Clean hotel.

Dining, Buffet -all food cooked hot was very cold both mornings we went. (7am day1, 8am day2)

A regular hotel, very pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms were nice. The only failing point was the breakfast buffet.

Very convenient to have a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Hotel is very clean and the staff was very courteous.

We actually liked everything about this hotel.

Great service to have a shuttle to and from the Narita Airport. Very convenient to have such a large variety of restaurants right in the hotel. We had a great view from our room, w/out a building in sight seems like we were in a forest. No complaints about service, cleanliness and staff. Would surely stay again next time we visit Japan.

Hotel Feature Tip : Convenient shuttle service to and from the Narita Airport to the hotel.

Close to airport, quiet, excellent service, good choice of restaurants, shop.

Western visitors are unable to watch and listen to CNN because of the Japanese translator, who over rides the English dialogue. One TV channel dedicated to English would be good.

We used the Narita View hotel as a stopover during our journey to New Zealand, and it proved perfect in every way. A short walk from the airport entrance to No. 16 bus stop was all it took to get a Free shuttle bus to the Hotel. Check in was very easy, with a change of bed choice being no problem. Friendly and helpful staff delivered luggage safely to our room, and provided us with leads and adapter for our laptop. Excellent bathroom facilities, although the bath was more suited to locals than 6'2" Westerners. Buffet dinner and breakfast were very good value, with a large variety of familiar and not so familiar goodies to feast on. Lastly, our request for a late checkout was agreed quite happily by the duty manager at no extra cost. We would definitely recommend the Narita View to anyone wishing to stay close to the Airport for a day or so.

Restaurant Tip : The Patio restaurant has good opening hours and if you are very hungry,(greedy!) you can eat enough good food to satisfy the biggest appetite.
