Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Best feature is its location. Walking distance from both JNR Asakusabashi station or subway Bakuroyokoyama.
No free internet (or Paid one) service.
No free coffee... Toyoko Inn next door had both.
Rooms are clean, spacious for Tokyo standard, with very comfortable down comforter.
You do have to make sure to ask for the non-smoking room in advance. As I forgtot ask I got a smoking room and they could not change it.
Staff are very helpful and there was a very good Soba restaurant on the 1st floor.

Clean, comfortable bed, close to trainstations + nice area to explore. very easy access from airport by train.
Check in time is 3pm, check out at 10am. Rooms smell strongly of smoke, and windows don't open. Plus you hear knocking on many doors starting very early to have room cleaned, quite annoying.
It was the cheapest hotel I could find in the area. Worth it if you're on a budget. The area is nice to start out exploring in Japan. And from the airport much easier and cheaper to take the train then a bus. The staff are also quite nice. However if your flight arrives early it isn't nice to spend the whole day waiting to check into a hotel. But maybe thats why it was cheaper, you loose half a day. Many hotels in the area if you don't like this one.

Nice clean hotel close to Akabashi electronics market which is one of the worlds largest and most advanced market.
They do not serve breakfast and the restaurant within is limited.
This was my first hotel in Japan, the moment I reached Tokyo it took me 2 hours to find this hotel. No one in the area knew it, the signs were poor, at the end I got a taxi, the driver enetered the address in his navigator and realised it was only 20 metres away.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close to 2 subway stations and walking distance to Akabashi, perfect for whizzos looking for gadgets and gizmos.

Easy to get in from Narita or get to Narita, very easy. There are two JR lines and one subway line very close to hotel, so it is very easy to get to anywhere fast. On JR, it is 4 min. to Tokyo and around 8 minutes to Shinagawa.
Lobby is small, very small and no place to have breakfast early morning. All rooms are smoking rooms, so if you have breathing problems I would not recommend the hotel.
I think this hotel is a great deal for any business traveler who is on budget (I think almost everyone is). I like the rooms and I really like the service from staff.
Restaurant Tip : There is a Chinese restaurant around the corner close to the subway line. Everything is priced around 490 yen, the food is really good and service is excellent. I would highly recommend the soaps, they are just really good.

Nice,cosy
Well located
Japanese service
Receptionists did not speak english
I had a really nice time staying at Nihonbashi Villa Hotel. First, it is very well located because it is next to Asakusabashi and Bakurocho trainstations. The rooms are japanese-small but very cosy and nice. Service of the hotel is excellent. From the hotel lobby you could acces to a very good restaurant. It serves excellent Hokkaido food.

Easy to get from Narita, free internet, clean, Staff were helpful and friendly.
room smelled of smoke although it was non-smoking, Long walk from Metro station, size of the room.
I like how easy it is to get to this hotel with train from Narita, I simply took Narita Rapid JR to Bakurocho station. Hotel is located at a quiet neighborhood though there were a couple of convenience stores nearby. Also available is free internet service and the people on front desk are very friendly and helpful.
If you are looking for a practical place to stay in Akihabara then I highly recommend it.

Very close to transportation, nicely situated, clean, free internet, friendly concierge
room smelled of smoke although it was non-smoking, bathroom really small
I arrived early and the people at the concierge imediatelly offered to store my luggage and gave me a subway map and a surroundings map for me to get an idea where I was. I would recomend this hotel to my friends if they're on vacation in Tokyo. Very friendly and easily accessible by subway.

This hotel was pretty reasonably located and well priced. The room was twice the size of other rooms I have stayed in here in Japan. The staff was friendly, and accommodating. When we asked to leave our luggage at the desk around 10:00am they actually let us check-in early. That might account for the dirty sheets on one of the beds, but not the overwhelming mildew smell in the bathroom, or the filthy shower curtain. We stayed in a triple room, so it's possible that it isn't used very often - and because of humidity, mold is a problem everywhere. But this was different, and it was enough to keep me from returning in the future.

cheap room rate, near subway/JR line, low key
The Nihonbashi Villa Hotel is conveniently located near the Asakusabashi subway and Japan Rail lines. Room was quite small, but well worth the price, and other than the stuffy air conditioning/ ventilation I was satisfied. Small shops, eateries, cafes and a mange kissa are within 5 minutes walking distance. If you are looking for a practical place to stay in Asakusa Tokyo then I highly recommend it.

Hotel is about 30 meters from the JR station and just one stop from Tokyo station.
The hotel does not have a restaurant although there is a non affiliated restaurant in the building.
This hotel is in a good location. My room, which was at the end of the hall, was smaller than normal and very crowded. There is no closet, and when I hung my clothes on the available hooks I could barely get past them into the room. This is the only hotel I have stayed in in Japan that did not have a breakfast buffet included. Having said all that, the price is reasonable and I will probably stay there again.

Relatively easy to get to, from Narita or anywhere else.
No place to eat in the morning in Hotel, rooms are all smoking rooms.
This is was my second time to stay in this hotel, I still think this hotel is a good buy for business stay if you are on a budget.

The hotel is very easy to get to from Narita, staff are very helpful, net access was fast.
No place to have breakfast in the morning in the hotel or even close to hotel, and my non-smoking room was definitely an smoking room! No sign on the hotel easy visible.
I like how easy it is to get to this hotel with train from Narita. I simply took Narita Express to Tokyo station and changed train to Subo line to Bakurocho. Sobu line is on the same track as Nrita Express. Three stations close to hotel makes it very easy to to go anywhere. Room is nice and staff are helpful.
Restaurant Tip : To find some food, the best suggestion is to go to Asakusabashi Station area.
