Good connection to Narita airport and Tokyo terminal, great offer of amenities, big rooms

off-centre

If you really need to get used to special features of Japanese hotels, such as automated toilet seats or yukatas on your bed, really slowly, then this hotel is the best choice for you. It seams that it has been designed to suit American customers, because you won't find any of the above in it. But if this really doesn't matter to you, then you will find as much comfort in Radisson as you like. You won't even have to go anywhere to enjoy yourself, but if there are still some things that you would like to see, then you have a choice of a highway bus that will take you to the centre of Tokyo, and a special shopping shuttle to the enormous shopping mall in downtown Narita. Complimentary shuttle to and from the airport is another benefit which you should take advantage of. The staff at this hotel actually speaks English pretty well, which is rarity in Japan, so if you are English, American or Australian, you might feel here just like home. The level of service is very high, the hotel is clean and rooms have a lot of space and a nice view of one of hotel's own gardens. Don't forget to pleasure yourself with a room service breakfast. It might seem expensive, but you will see that it is actually not when you get it.

On arrival the staff were more than accomodating, always polite and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. Very happy with all aspects of our stay here.

The breakfast buffet and room service had limited choice for vegetarians.

We were picked up at the airport by a complimentary bus, which eased the pressure on arriving in a new country. On arrival at the hotel, which was quite late in the evening the staff were more than accomodating. Throughout our stay they were always polite and helpful (all speaking English very clearly). The complimentary bus service that the Raddison provided into Narita and to the shopping complex was excellent as was the Tokyo bus which picked us up at the front of the hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. Very happy with all aspects of our stay here.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Good sightseeing in Narita ~ temples, a variety of village shops on the walk to the temple.

I found this to be a nice and peaceful hotel, with very nice grounds, comfortable and quiet rooms, etc. The service and people were very nice.

I arrived at 10 pm at Narita. The last shuttle to hotel comes at 9 pm. Cab ride cost me $4500 yen

Hotel is located in a somewhat remote area but if you are not on a very tight schedule it offers complimentary shuttle to the main attractions of the area -a famous Buddhist temple- Naritasan, and a shopping mall. I found this to be a nice and peaceful hotel, with very nice grounds, comfortable and quiet rooms, etc. The service and people were very nice. I wanted to try some Japanese food, so tried the main restaurant. While it was OK, their main focus seemed to be on the western buffet and the Japanese food itself was not good as it generally is elsewhere. It has "Californian" theme in design/cuisine (Baseball bar and Mexican dinner menu in a restaurant) that was a big negative for me - have enough of it here! Rooms were sufficiently bigger than in Tokyo hotels at the same price range. Be aware that for an airport hotel there is still a fairly long transfer time for the shuttle (25-30 minutes each way), and it’s important to look at the shuttle schedule because the frequency varies through the day. Waited 50 minutes for bus (others like holiday inn, Hilton came much more frequently), longer than expected ride to hotel. However, it only has one restaurant, no shopping, and is in a somewhat remote location. If you are driving, this is fine, but if you depend on the shuttle service, you must wait for an hour to an hour and a half to go to the nearest shopping area. Other than that, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel.
