This hotel features a good location, close to the wonderful Main Street and Temple. This is basically a self-serve hotel, if you will, but good instructions in English are provided in the room. Front Desk was welcoming & very willing to help if they could. The room was minimalist but well designed and a decent size for Japan with fast Internet & good lighting. Short on luggage storage however, but we managed with 2 big suitcases & 4 small ones. The hotel and our room were extremely clean & well maintained. Bathroom had essential toiletries for an overnight stay. There is a free airport shuttle but it ends mid-afternoon.
Taxi from airport cost us 3000 yen & from hotel to airport 5250 yen (no explanation for the
difference except that we had to order a van due to our luggage).
There is a modest-looking restaurant inside next to the hotel for lunch & dinner with both Japanese & western dining options and our dinner & service was very good with prices on par for Japan.

Excellent hotel for first night stay in Japan
This is a fairly new, clean hotel that is located one stop from the airport and within walking distance of the train station. It has all the amenities needed with signs/instructions in English

This is a new, comfortable hotel with friendly staff used to foreign speaking travelers. Great place to go your first night in Japan if flying into Narita. It is quiet for sleeping with a comfortable firm bed and blackout curtains. Bath room had all amenities needed and fluffy towels. Restaurant has a decent breakfast buffet, however be prepared as it is mostly Japanese food items but did include bread, butter, jam, OJ, fruit, yogurt and of course your typical runny scrambled eggs. If coming from the JR train station, do not turn to the left or extreme right or you will have stairs. When returning however, turn left out of the hotel and take the escalators up that are a half a block down on the right side of the road.
