Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Basically only spent a night there but felt super welcomed and safe. Female and solo traveller. there were
a mix of old and young guests, and even whole families. would return in future.

Stay with other roommates in a small room is not so bad, but at first our roommates must be loving clean too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Not so far to the new JR and good to see the skytree, the new tower.

If you're looking for a quality backpackers with a low price, this is pretty much the perfect choice; I loved Sakura Hostel. I was in Tokyo for 4 nights and the Hostel is close to two train stations, which was perfect. Breakfast was great for the price, there are laundry services available and the rooms/bathrooms were very comfortable. Definitely reccomended!

Good Location and 'bath house'
7.7
Staying at Hotel Taiyo was okay.
I really enjoyed being able to relax in the bathhouse they had, and my room very was comfortable if but a bit small. Getting a yukata (in this case a Japanese bathrobe/hotel wear) to wear during my stay was a pleasant surprise.
The internet wasn't all to good though, and they only had western style toilets on the 1st, 8th and 9th (girls only) floor which was a bit troublesome, and the Japanese style toilets smelled.
I later on heard from a Japanese friend that lived in Osaka, that this area was actually the most dangerous area in Osaka, but I don't think this is/was a big problem as I wouldn't be going out on my own at night and the Metro exit was right in frond of the door.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Spa World is just on the other side of the station from the hotel and something worth a try if you have the time and money.
Also, if you like high buildings, the Sky building is a must!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Beds are okay a little hard. The facilities are great. The subway is a ten minute walk away. So that was a bit annoying. But other than that it was great.
