Good location with airport limousine bus reach

Good location which you can reach train station easily. Also, lots of restaurants and shopping places to visit. Airport limousine bus reaches hotel so that it is very convenient to transfer to airport. We went other city for one night and the hotel allowed us to leave luggage for free which is convenient for us. Free wifi in room.

Awful service, but great location

The service there was very bad. The reception did not help us with any requests we made and we had to carry our own luggage from the limosine bus stop into the hotel. The price we paid for the hotel is not worth this kind of service.

Good location but small room and no wifi

the location is the best thing about this hotel. have airport bus to get on and off just in front of the hotel, very convenience. but the room is pretty small, especially the bed. and have no wifi at any place in hotel, only have internet at the lobby at per 10 mins. anyway, if u wanna stay in shibuya, this hotel is probably the best choice as the metro station and shopping mall just underneath the hotel.

as they say, its always about location, location, location. the hotel is so central - trains and subways are like minutes away.
at shibuya mark city itself, you have restaurants, shops, cafes and convenience store.
if you walk out of smc, department stores and major brands are all within walking distance (tokyu, seibu, h&m, loft, tokyu hands, etc).
even the airport limo bus stops right outside the hotel lobby!
the rooms are spacious - a rarity in tokyo. we stayed on the 15th floor, which was good, and offered us a good view of the city.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Do have the breakfast buffet on the 25th floor as you can see the amazing skyline of Shibuya and beyond. We managed to see as far to Mount Fuji on a clear sunny day.

Great location, had a decent sized room for Tokyo
Location if you want to be near the Shibuya/Harajuku side of town

had a faultless stay. my room was 30sqm, comfortable bed, aircon/heater. good sized bathroom, shower pressure was fine. house cleaning also did a fantastic job when we required. would definitely stay here again. i ended up getting a flash deal of 50% off for the twin share which averaged out to around usd a night each. didn't eat at the hotel though as there are plenty of places to eat around there (across the road is tokyu food mall highly recommended you go there and bring food back to your hotel to eat!) no wifi in rooms but lan provided.
Restaurant Tip:
Try find "Toriki' which is just opposite from the Hatanodai station as you walk out. To get to Hatanodai change trains at Gotanda. Specialises in chicken mostly grilled in front of you, the chef is charismatic, jovial and a lot of fun. A favourite to many locals. YouTube "Toriki" or Anthony Bourdain Toriki

Handy, roomy and neat.
Great location and large twin room

Excellent location with tons of shopping nearby. Located above Shibuya station. Easy to find from the street, hard to find through the maze of interconnected shops. Hotel is just starting to show signs of age, but still in good condition. We stayed in a basic twin room, very roomy for Japan. I recommend this hotel and would stay again without a second thought. Staff spoke enough English to sort out all our requests, every call we made they answered in English and were quick to respond. One night we had dinner in the Japanese restaurant on the 25th floor, it was excellent.
Travel tip:
The Narita express operates to and from Shibuya station every half hour, very fast, our train arrived at Narita in less than an hour!

Fantastic location and wonderful views

my sister, daughter and i choose shibuya excel for its location especially for the ease of getting from our train to the hotel and that is exactly what we experienced. it was only a two minute walk and with cases in hand that is very important. to be able to have a triple share room and have room for three women to spread all their belongings was something we didn't really expect. we were pleasantly surprised. the room itself was on a womens only floor and for three women who did not know shibuya very well we felt extremely safe. from the time we arrived at the reception desk, where we were suggested the womens only floor, we were very happy with the quality of the staff service. the view from the 22nd floor was amazing especially at night. the hotels location to eating venues was also another plus for us, not knowing the area. the experience was such that i am currently rebooking for the rest of my family and two friend in january .
