It was a very comfortable stay with great location. Just 5 minutes walk away from the shibuya station. There are nice cafes around the area as well and a convenience store just round the corner. The room is a little small but decent for a solo traveller. Internet is also free which is great, but remember to bring an adaptor for ethernet cable.

For the money you pay and it being in Tokyo, this hotel provides a very reasonable deal.
Yes, the rooms are small but they are still good value. The location is great - it is surrounded by cool bars, restaurants and shopping. The staff were also very helpful and will lend you an umbrella if it's raining.
Restaurant Tip:
The yakitori restaurant over the road is friendly and has an English menu if you need to know what you're eating ;)

Stayed here for 4 nights on the way back home from Thailand. If I knew Tokyo was going to be that fun I would have booked more nights. A little expensive a night. But none the less it was well worth it. Too bad the wifi is just in the lobby and not available in your room. But thats no big deal.

the hotel is tucked in a corner, not very visible, but the cons seems somewhat minimal when I walked into the hotel, nice interior, unique main door, with restaurant and bar. the lifts and walkways to the rooms are a little too dark for my likings but the rooms make up for the uneasy feelings when you step in. small but very cosy. hotel is nearer to the train stations than i expected. lots of shopping nearby. will go for Granbell hotel again

good range of toiletries, nice touches like real coffee, great curtains!, decent lighting compared to the usual japanese stark tubes

also the bar/eating areas are a bit down market
