Nothing flash. Small and standard.
Close to cab rank and Shibuya

We only stayed here cos it was close to where we wanted to be and it was the cheapest available for three people. Nothing flash or standout. Just a bed and bathroom. Which is all we needed for a night.

Well looked after hotel

Staff were great, I checked in in under a minute, nothing to fill out, no ID to show (unheard of in Japan). Hotel is quite old but really well looked after, so everything is clean and fresh. Comfortable bed which is probably the most important part of a stay for me. The hotel is about halfway between shibuya and omotesando so there is a bit of walking involved (10 minutes) but it's a pleasant area so a walk is nice.

the location, and thats about it....

We booked for the location...the staff were not friendly and wouldn't let us check in early...the rooms were tiny and smelt of cigarette smoke, and the dining options were an overpriced restaurant downstairs, or a nearby 7-11...which received our patronage...

old hotel and out of the way

this hotel is a 15-20 minute UPHILL walk to the nearest train station. it is old, they use the big old style key that you need to leave at the front desk. the rooms are so so. there aren't any restaurants nearby, surprising for tokyo. would only recommend this as a last resort.

A very clean and unusually spatious room in a good location.
The only thing I would have wished for were more clear info regarding the busses runing outside.
FYI, Buss number 1 runs from Stop 51 at Shibuya station and the hotel is situated on the opposite side of the street at the first stop

The service was very average (staff being cold/minimal). But the location was good, close enough to Shibuya, and the price was decent.
Note that it's a good 15 minutes walk to reach Shibuya, along some sort of highway.
