Between Tokyo Tower and Ginza
7.7
One of the famous Tokyu Inn hotels in Japan. Means all you need when you travelling. Tokyo Tower, Hibiya park, Imperial palace and Ginza - all these places are nearby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Good hotel if you like to take a walk before sleeping

Simple, effective room
Cheap, not a bad walk from a major train station, clean
7
I got this hotel on an Agoda deal and because I knew the area would be safe/clean because it is a nice business district. It is about a 15 minute walk from the Shimbashi train station, which isn't bad for just the beginning/end of the day but not really convenient to go back and forth if you intend on resting at other periods. The hotel is also only about a 20-30 minute walk from the Tsukiji fish market, if you intend on going before the metro starts running.
The front counter was very nice, although with my rate, they gave me a room in the older part of the hotel that was a bit smoky.
The room itself was small and a bit musty but very, very clean. The bathroom allowed me to take a shower at normal height (impressive for a 6' tall man in Japan) and even though it was cramped, it was very reasonable. The room itself didn't have much space other than the desk and bed, and I do wish it had a coffee maker or some other way to get hot water for a drink. I also wish there was wifi or a longer ethernet cord so I could use my laptop on the bed. the internet itself is ok for a basic phone call but seemed to have some measure in place to prevent you from downloading any reasonable sized file (even if it was a direct, legal download).
All in all, a reasonable hotel and a good price.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
25 minutes walking to Tsukiji is killer if you want to see the early-morning fish auctions and eat before the metro starts up at 5.

staff is very friendly although they are hardly speak english. if you have any problems, just tell them. they will help as much as they could.
other than that, i think the location is very convenient. near to shimbashi sta (about 20 mins walk) and toronomon sta (about 10 mins walk). lots of convenient stores nearby.

friendly hotel but lack free wifi
Near train station and great amenities eg bathtub
8
only 10 min walk from train station with plenty of eating places. very central and was able to leave luggage in the morning before i checked in at 3pm.
good value for money and the security was excellent. free kimonos for use.
the room was non-smoking and was freshly cleaned. i am indeed pleased with the hotel as i was a budget traveller and the stay was indeed a memorable one. although i could not converse in japanese, the staff was very helpful and i had no problem getting directions from them.
availability of free wifi would have been good as i had my smart phone with me.
i do recommend this hotel for first timers to japan as being near the train station is certainly a plus point.

Business hotel with good quality facilities
Convenient location and a big room
7
We didn't spend much time at the hotel, other than sleeping - but the hotel served our needs well. Staff wasn't too eager to help out and we got kind of a business hotel vibe from the place. The hotel was conveniently located and the room was nice, which was all we needed in the end. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to Toranomon station (walk left from the hotel doors until you reach a big street - the take left for Toranomon, or right for Shimbashi or Ginza).

Stayed here for 5 nights and was happy with the overall room quality. Though small, it had everything necessary and the bed was comfortable. Toilet was also considerably big for the small room size.
Location is pretty decent and is withing walking distance to metro. It is not very near Shimbashi though and walking to Shimbashi JR station is quite tiring. However, at least the walk through brings you through the eateries and the colorful nightlife of Shimbashi.
Not much other amenities nearby though. Downside will just be really small room size and far from Shimbashi JR.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Clean rooms.
