The stay at the annexe tower cost a little more but the room is better furnished and newer than the main tower.
The hotel should consider providing PC in the lobby for free internet access for guests.
This is the third time I stayed at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel as I like the hotel's proximity to the train station which has Shinkansen access. It is ideal if you are planning to visit other parts of Japan using the Shinkansen.
Although the Shinagawa area does not have many shopping complexes, there are plenty of restaurants in the office complexes.

Nice location accross train station, many restaurants & shops around, Limousine bus from and to Narita airport
Room furnitures looks a bit old
Shinagawa area is perfect for my business trip destination since near to Tokyo station and there's Shinkanseng train station. If I stay in shorter time one of my choice of stay is Shinagawa Prince Hotel. The location is perfect for my travel since just across there's a JR and Shinkanseng train station. There's many restaurants, cafes and shops around the hotel. From and to Narita airport there's a limousine bus service at this hotel. The room is quite clean. I usually stay in Main or Annex Building since it's newer and the room is bigger. The room furnitures looks a bit worn-out but still ok because it's clean. Unfortunately I have to pay for my internet access.

1. Very close to the Shinagawa station
2. many event halls
3. plentiful kinds of breakfast menu
4. endless service of Japanese tea from the
bending machine located on the corridor
5. wide space of lobby.
1. expensive internet connection fee compare to
room fare
I think this hotel is just fit as the hotel which tourists mostly prefer to stay in terms of a thousand of rooms, it's fare and it's location.
I had an wonderful time with my friend who lives in Nagoya at the restaurant located in near from Shinkansen entrance until just befor of his departing time. I would recommend this hotel for a business man who need to have a meeting near hotel many times. It takes normally 25 munites from the hotel room to Yurakkucho. Any how this is very attractive hotel for tourists and businessman.
Hotel Feature Tip : no experience

the hotel lobby just so crowd feels like you in a grocery store
I stay in shinagawa prince hotel for 2 nights, and it was great. their location was so perfect, near by the subway station I can just take the subway or metro or even JR line to reach the place that i wanna go. Strategic location, with so many restaurants around the place. The room is so so, but it was clean though. This hotel have their own entertainment, that was cool with the aquarium. And they provide what i need.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Near by the hotel you can just walk to the train station, the location is strategic and perfect.so many good restaurant around the hotel and inside the hotel. and also they have the dolphin aquarium.

Close to the train station, many shops at the hotel, good service
Having to pay to use the pool, small fridge
Only stayed here for two nights but was a great comfortable, stylish hotel. Great service and a good range of shops on the lower level, including gift shops and a 7-11. Right next to the train station, great location. Pity about having to use the pool, should be something included in the price.

- very convenient location - 1 min from the Shinagawa station
- friendly service
- lots of dining and shopping just outside the hotel
- clean air-conditioned rooms
- rooms are small
- bathroom is really small
- windows are even smaller
It was my first time in Japan and I speak absolutely no Japanese. I stayed in Shinagawa Prince Hotel for two nights, so I had 1.5 days to explore Tokyo. I reserved my room well in advance via Agoda (Asia based) agency and everything worked just fine. The price was right and when I needed to change my itinerary by one day, I received a prompt service. So, when I arrived to Shinagawa Station (which is on the circle JR line – important if you have limited time), the hotel was right in front of me and I had no trouble to find it. The check in was quick and simple. The rooms are clean, but very small by American (and even British) standards , but everything was in order and worked. High speed internet is available for about $10 for 24 hours. I would definitely stay in Shinagawa Prince Hotel again if I am in Tokyo.
Restaurant Tip : cross the road and go to Shinagawa Station - there are many nice Japanese places to eat.

The location of the Hotel is great, very close to Shinigawa station. Lots of stores in the hotel complex and in the general area. Room was very very clean, and had everything we needed.
The rooms are a little old, and a bit small, however they are very very clean. We were very comfortable in them, but they may need an update in the near future.
The Prince is in the perfect spot, just across the road from Shinigawa Station which is one of the main hubs of the Tokyo train system.
Lots of restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, souvenire shops, scattered about the entire complex. Drinks on the top floor at the bar is a must at night fall....the view is spectacular! Staff are very friendly, and the hotel room had everything we needed, although a bit small - we were very comfortable for the week we stayed in Tokyo. A bus from the airport can take you right there for the price of a train ticket.
Restaurant Tip : Drinks at the top of the Prince Main Tower is a must, at night you get an amzing view of Tokyo. Hapuna Buffet is also great for lunch.

Great location. Large modern rooms. Super staff.
Hotel rates are very good. Many rooms to select from. Annex rooms very spacious with all the modern amenties including free internet. Hotel location provides easy transportation to all areas of Tokyo and beyond. Many fine shopping and eating places in the hotel and close by. Sports facility a nice touch but very pricey. Would like to see a gym facility installed to include a steam and sauna room.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Shinagawa Station across the street with access to all of Tokyo and beyond. Timely bus service to / from airport.

The hotel was reasonably priced and VERY conveniently located. Right across from the station and full of many support shops and restaurants. Staff was basically friendly and helpful.
The counter staff was soft-spoken and difficult to hear. The English level of some staff wasn't strong enough. The hotel room itself was small and boxy (though it didn't bother me)
This hotel was overall a positive experience. For a low price- I was prepared for low quality, but I got a clean and comfortable room and was very conveniently located in the Tokyo near the Yamanote line, meaning I could get around very freely. The room I ended up was in the older tower, but the room have obviously been updated and was very reasonably priced. While the room was tight for foreign standards, I found it very easy to move to the shower or bed and everything was easy to access. The local area had a a bunch of restaurants and shops so it was easy to grab some fresh bread or a glass of beer or any daily needs, or even some cheap McDonalds if needed. I will definitely check this hotel as my first option the next time I am staying in Tokyo!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Epson Shinagawa Aqua Stadium in walking distance
