In general, it is a very good place to stay in Tokyo, reasonable price after the discount. Would love to stay here again in the near future

accessible to transportation, very good breakfast, nice view of the city from the top floors

noise can be heard from other room, especially the phone ringing which wake you up

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Try visiting Meiji shrine which is not far from the hotel.

Clean room, easy to locate but no bell boy to help carry bags. Service from some staff were not that great but ok.

Location next to Tokyo metropolitan building (free Observatory building). Walkable distance from Shinjuku St. 100yen shuttle bus stops at hotel door step.

Room very small and all three buffet halls are relatively small. Laundry room only in annex building (need some walk).

The hotel's location is its best feature; and the breakfast buffet, which includes both Asian and Western cuisine, is wonderful. There is a foreign traveler desk, which was helpful; but it was not staffed 24/7. There is a great little inexpensive noodle restaurant right in the hotel.

Great location. Super breakfast buffet.

Small room. Somewhat shabby, but clean. Desk promised ice, which never arrived.

  • Restaurant Tip : Try the little noodle restaurant in the hotel.

We found this hotel quite a nice hotel. The first 2 nights were in a double bed room which was very small . Not much room to even walk around, when we changed to a twin room, we found the room much bigger and more comfortable. We would recommend the breakfast. Great choice of either western or Japanese on the top floor. If you're lucky as we were you can see mt. Fujii out the window. Not 5 stars but good for the shopping within the area.

Good position for the shops of Shinjuku. Great for any train trip around Tokyo.

If a non-smoker, make sure you book the non smoking room..!!

  • Hotel Feature Tip : Watch out when booking a room. We booked a double bed room and found it quite small whereas 2 single beds gives you a much bigger room.

The hotel is conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from the Shinjuku west or south exit. There is even a safe and covered walkway (go towards the Tokyo Metropolitan offices) that you can use if the weather is inclement. A non-smoking room was not available at late hour I checked in, but they kindly treated a smoking room with ozone (about a half an hour wait - they gave me 30 minutes on the internet in the lobby while I waited) and when I got to the room, there was nary a smell. I did change rooms the next day, but that was easy not a problem. Well done!! That kind of customer service deserves mention and credit. There is a choice of 5 restaurants to choose for breakfast and they were all quite good. The rooms were well tended and had all the amenities of a good, but not fancy business hotel, including high speed internet by LAN in the room. This hotel was a very pleasant surprise to me in Tokyo.

Efficient, clean, great location, good service, excellent breakfasts and easy check-out

None - well done!

  • Hotel Feature Tip : Bring a cable at least 3 meters long if you want to work your internet from the bed.

When I'm coming back to Tokyo I'd go back to this hotel. I think Shinjuku is the best zone in Tokyo to stay and the hotel is very close to JR and subway station

Good situation, multiple choices for breakfast

Small room with a very small window

A great location if you are attending a function at the convention centre. Central to all venues and the room had a great view of the harbour and close to the shopping plazas. An added bonus is there is a Starbucks Coffee in the same complex for thst morning caffeine hit. Also the train station is at the front of the hotel. What more can you ask for!

The massage chair in the room and the view of the harbour.

They charged us extra for a twin room even though they were informed we wanted twin beds.

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visiting the harbour at Yokahama.

Great location; however, I would recommend getting a double even for single unless you are used to the very, very small rooms.
