The hotel and rooms are very clean, people are nice and kind, including recepcion, bar and restaurant.
More options in the breakfast. There are western or japanese style. However, each of them, do not change. The same soup, etc. Maybe include cheese, ham, little things.
I think the Roppongi Hotel is very well located, just about 3 or 4 minutes from the Shibuya Station. Which is part of the JR Line, the one that cover almost all the interesting spots in Tokyo. Besides JR provides to the foreign visitors, the JR Rail Pass.
There are lots of restaurants, of a large range of prices, next to the hotel. Which makes easier to the tourists to have dinner late at night, after all day long sightseeing in Tokyo.
There are only one lap top with free internet access in the lobby. Although it is not quite busy, when we asked for a internet access, there are another alternative, which is another laptop that you can take to your room to access.
Also, there was an incident, a ear phone of my sun broke, during the cleaning. They have, not only informed us. but they have kindly gave us a new ear phone, exactly the same brand and type.
In resume, I would say that my stay in Tokyo could not have been better.
Next time we go to Tokyo, for sure we are going to stay again in GrandBell Hotel.
Restaurant Tip : There are lots of cheap and nice restaurants near to the hotel. Lamen, curry, korean meet barbecue, etc.

The apartment was really big and spacious. I loved the location, a few minutes walk from the main area with all the shops and restaurants. The staff was really helpful in giving suggestions and even calling certain places for us because they only spoke Japanese.
It would be nice if they offered internet service. Better direction to the apartment complex would be really helpful.
I was very impressed with everything when we first arrived at the hotel. Staff could speak fluent English which is a plus. The breakfast was a nice bonus as well. There is also a laundry room which is nice. The price you pay for the apartment in Tokyo compared to the somerset is very reasonable here. I would recommend this apartment to others. All positive comments here nothing bad to say here.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Tons to see here. You get a bit of everything in the roppongi area. If you want night life its here , tons of restaurants and shops. Try Kohmen (ramen-really good) shop, it was recommended by the hotel staff.

Great location, clean and spacious apartment, friendly staff
This apartment was surprisingly large! Separate bedroom, lounge and huge bathroom. Room was modern and clean - staff were very pleasant. The apartments are almost level with an expressway - but you can't hear a thing as soon as you close the front door. Right near the main street of Roppongi and about 5 minutes walk from Roppongi station. We had a great time staying here.

The place is an apartment, not just a room, so it was much bigger than we expected. It was also very clean and comfortable. It is located 5 min walk from the Roppongi subway station.
The breakfast was very basic.
Having stayed in Kyoto first and then looking at a number of places in Tokyo, we were surprised to get such a big place in the city for a reasonable price. The place is really an apartment, so understandably the food is just a basic set (tea, instant coffee, sliced bread, and one type of cereal). We would definitely stay again.
Hotel Feature Tip : Finding the hotel was a bit tricky for us. Go right out of the subway exit, down the hill. Cross over a couple of streets and near the bottom of the hill it will be on the right.

-excellent location in Roppongi (5mins walk to 2 subway lines).
-very big and fully furnished apartment (incl. fully functioning kitchen).
-very clean and tidy.
-7eleven downstairs.
-friendly staff.
-very loud entrance to the individual apartments (highway just opposite, but windows are sound proof, no noise within the apartments).
The Roppongi Somerset is a great choice for people who are looking for a spacious place to stay within the city center of Tokyo but without all the amenities of a normal hotel. The rooms are more designed like apartments and you have everything what you need in them. It is excellent value for money, especially if you are planning to stay there for a little longer.

very nice, helpfull and good english speaking staff.
clean rooms
old furniture in the room ( sofa, chairs etc )
poor breakfast, tea bags in the room only on check in. This should be replaced everyday ( not an expensive issue )
this is a purely serviced apartment hotel.
Nightlife Tip : Roppongi Nightlife area and Metro stations just few meters away.

Large room, very close to nightlife and subway station. Walking distance to many of cities sights and attraction.
Room would have been more comfortable with a 2 seater couch rather than a chair.
The room was quite large compared to many others on offer in a similar price range, and has a kitchen with a huge refrigerator. The staff were very friendly and accomodating and all spoke english. The hotel is only a 2 minute walk from the Roppongi nightlife and subway station and has a 7/11 next door which was handy for replenishing supplies. Breakfast was simple and not really worth getting up early for after a big night out.

Location is great with up to 4 subway lines within walking vicinity.
Value for money -- nice and clean room comes with free internet, cable TV and breakfast.
Lack of the usual hotel-like services such as bell-hop.
Room amenities could be improve; only shower gel and shampoo provided in bathroom.
A truly value-for-money place to stay in Tokyo coupled with a great location in Roppongi within walking distance to 4 subway lines (Hibiya, Namboku, Odeo and Chiyoda) and the latest shopping malls (Roppongi Hills & Tokyo Midtown).
As the development is more of a service apartment as opposed to a true-blue hotel setup, the usual hotel-grade services may be missing including lack of bell-hop ie have to carry your own luggage up to your room and find exact location of your room.
Otherwise, no real complaints as we had a pleasant 2 night stay.
Restaurant Tip : Ichiran Ramen (located on the way to Tokyo Midtown on the 2nd floor above am/pm convenience store) is highly recommended for the great tonkatsu-soup ramen as well as the unique setup where each customer is seated in their own individual cubicle to fully concentrate and enjoy the bowl of ramen.

Good location. Central to shopping, dining and transportation (subway). Offers a comfortable, at home type of atmosphere, unlike a large hotel. The room was cleaned daily and the additional touch of the bottled water was very much appreciated.
The advertising was misleading in the presentation of the fitness facilities. Morning breakfast area too small and not a convenient set-up for guests. Staff were nice, but not overly friendly nor willing to offer assistance unless asked.
Having lived in the Azabu/Roppongi area before, I enjoyed my stay at the Somerset Roppongi Hotel because it was in the same area where I lived. It was like being home again. It was nice to have the option to bring something back for a late snack or dinner. As I mentioned previously, the Roppongi subway is within very easy walking distance and offers easy transporation to any part of Tokyo. For my future visits to Tokyo, I will consider the Somerset Roppongi or perhaps the Azabu property. I would also provide a recommendation for the property to friends and relatives who will be traveling to Japan.
Shopping Tip : Roppongi Hills is a wonderful new development that offers a number of restaurants from fine dining to quick foods and snacks to select from and offers an attractive presentation of shops.

Easy Access, Close to Undergroud/Train station, \nWell equiped appartment and very clean.\nEnglish speaking staff.
Breakfast was not to good.
Nice and clean, nice size appartment (1 bedroom).\nVery easy to find, even for my first time visit in Tokyo. The staff was allways helpful, and their english was very good. The appartment was well equiped with most things you need even a Kitchen, 2 aircons for hot summers. Only thing that was not good was the breakfast, the funiture in the breakfast lobby needed some cleaning or replacement. I would stay there next time in Tokyo.
Travel tip : 7/11 is nextdoor, they have nice food you can heat in the microwave for breakfast.

Very large and sunny rooms. Amazing for the fact that they are an apartment with a living room, a small kitchen and a fridge.
Sommerset Roppongi is very well located for fun (just 3, 4 min from Roppongi crossing) but is right in front of an elevated highway and therefore noisy if you open the window.
The hotel looks more like an apartment rental buildings, that is, our room was a little apartment with kitchen and living room.
Everything was clean and neat and has good room service.
The only negative point is breakfast 'cause it is small and not varied at all.
On the other hand you can make yourself a breakfast in the kitchen !!!

It is basically like an apartment, with the same features as a hotel.
The staff is very helpful and friendly.
The Rooms are also very spacious.
There was no restaurants in the hotel, and the breakfast they offered in the lounge was bread and cheese.
Overall I was quite pleased with this hotel. It was on a main road right close to the Maranouchi subway line. The apartment style living is great, there is a 24-hour convenient store right beside the hotel, which means that if you don't feel like going out you can pick up a few things and make something in your room. It is located in the heart of the Roppongi district in Tokyo and there is alot to see and do, especially if you like the night-life!

Roppongi is where Westerners hangout in Tokyo. If you like the bar sense, upscale clubs, night life, etc., this is the hotel (service apartment) for you. It is only 5 min walk to the core of Roppongi. The room size is double (450 sqft)compared to other standard hotel rooms with similar price.
Nightlife Tip : Try the "Ice Bar" nearby the hotel. But make sure you make a reservation first.

Overall, it's a good place to stay if you are staying in Tokyo for 1 or more weeks. The apt is more suited for younger travelers who are not going to spend much time in the apt.
