Tiny room, but perfectly adequate. Free internet via ethernet cable. Bathroom has shower, in short deep bath, with good water pressure. Provides toothbrush and usual amenities.
The best bed/pillow combination I've ever encountered.
Bed and pillows are more advanced and comfortable than what you would expect to find in a western hotel, especially in this price range.
Negotiating Shinjuku railway station for the first time is not for the faint of heart. Print out the maps, and consider taking a taxi until you get your bearings. You'll want the address in Japanese for a taxi.
- Shopping Tip : Walk directly down the street to arrive in Shinjuku main shopping area within 10 minutes. Leave breadcrumbs to find your way back.
a pleasant stay

I stayed for 4 nights in the hotel which is comfortable located in a calm area of busy shinjuku. The staff was very helpful in replying to my questions. Also i was impressed by the internet facilities. The room was nice and clean and due to the good sound isolation, offered a good feeling of privacy. All together, it was a good enough stay to come back.
Good location, nice and friendly staff, decent restaurant.
Not enough room to store personal belongings.
- Travel tip : Close to Aikido Hombu Dojo.
Good value for a great location.

Basic room is small, but that's normal for Tokyo, and still includes all facilities you would expect, so I'm not including this in the "cons" section.
I was travelling alone, and the single room had everything I needed. Location was the most important for me, and is probably the biggest selling point of this hotel. You're within walking distance of Shinjuku, without paying Shinjuku hotel prices.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Even though there is a subway station right next to the hotel, you can often save time by walking directly to Shinjuku station.
