The hotel was very pleasant and convenient. Breakfast buffet gave lots of choices. I liked the proximity to shopping mall and restaurants of Sunshine City. TV set was very small - hard to see from bed. Bathroom amenities were nice. Elevators were very prompt - important on 30th floor. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast buffet was nice - many options
Didn't like having to pay for internet. TV set was very small and old.
- Travel tip : This hotel had a shipping service on site - very helpful for shoppers.

Great place to come back to after a long day of sightseeing and just walking around! The price definitely reflects what you benefit and more! We were extremely impressed with the breakfast buffet, and the staff's demeanour as they were very well presented and always polite. Very happy with the service! It is close to Ikebekuro station so we had to catch the train to all the touristy places like Harajuku and Shibuya which is most definitely recommended for the nightlife!
- Nightlife Tip : Definitely visit Shibuya on a Friday or Saturday night with someone you know so you can find a good nightspot to hang out! We had a friend take us to The Hub, an old Irish-style pub in Shibuya which was great! Shibuya is definitely the place to be, while Harajuku may be best to check out during the day maybe on a Sunday as that's when the "Harajuku Girls" (ala Gwen Stefani's posse) come out and don't mind taking photos with you! Lots of tourists in these two areas!
Otaku-perfected location.

We were there at the end of December, so the weather outside is chilling cold. However, inside the room there is no air-conditioning and the window cannot be opened at all. I don't know if that is the policy for winter or not, but we ended up sweating whenever we were fully dressed in the room.
There is no room-service. But there is a convenient shop (Family Mart) open 24/7 at the ground floor with various types of food so you can go down and have a bite at any time.
- Restaurant Tip : You just have to try the 'Mobile Ramen' on the corner of the Otome Road! It's open only at night but worth a try!
