The hotel staff is the greatest asset. They are friendly and professional. Located away from the busy streets, set on a hill top this hotel offers quiet surroundings compared to the location of many other hotels located on highly traveled streets. The rooms are clean and up-to-date. Fresh ground brewed coffee is always available in the lobby along with free internet service. It is close to metro lines on the main street in Akasaka. You will walk a winding street that is barely traveled to get to the metro station.

I researched many hotels before selecting the B Akasaka Hotel. For the price, you will get a good value.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Imperial Palace and many other attractions are within walking distance if you are fit and enjoy the outdoors.

The design, the personel, the location.

No closet space, they forgot to clean up the room once.

This is a beautifully designed hotel, with very friendly personel. The hotel is located in a great neighborhood in Akasaka: very quiet and clean and close to the Biz Tower (nice resaurants!) and subways. The shower is superb, and there is a laptop with internet in the lobby, free of charge. I would really recommend this.

Travel tip : The best way to get there: take the Chiyoda line (Green) to Akasaka, and choose exit 3a3b. Take the esalator upstairs and turn right. You're now in the Biz Tower. Take the two escalators in front of you to the third floor; you'll end up at the other side of the Tower. Get out on the left, and go uphill until you end up at the front door of the hotel. The IsinHotels site sends you through the TBS Tower, but this is closed to the public. By going the way I just described, you'll save a few hundreds of meters, more particularly a few hundreds of meters UPHILL!
