the hotel has small rooms but they are nicely appointed and super clean. the beds are very confortable therefore considering we used the hotel just to sleep, it was perfect for us. shame on the breakfast which was poor but there are plenty of other options so not a problem

Cozy hotel in a convenient location
Located in a nice, charming neighborhood
7.3
The B Akasaka is a good choice for short staying business travelers. Although rooms are small, it offers enough comfort. The staff are very helpful and speak English well to assist non-Japanese speaking guests with day-to-day inquiries. Free wifi is available in the lobby. There is also an Italian restaurant that provides good food. The hotel is walking distance from the Akasaka metro station and several restaurants, convenience stores and boutiques.

The B Akasaka is a cozy hotel located in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are small, but offers basic comfort for short stays. There is an amazing Italian restaurant on the ground floor, also with nice outdoor seating. The hotel also offers basic massages and spa services.

Centrally Located
Location, close to subways, amenities
8.7
The hotel overall was okay; typical small rooms, not great but not bad. Would I stay here again, yea probably. The location was great, in that getting to other areas was just a few subway stops away. However, I wish I was told that there was a cemetery like place next door, this made me a little uncomfortable. Its not a cemetery like in the US but a small courtyard of gravestones. But maybe its a good thing I wasn't told cause I would have avoided it and it ended up not that bad. In addition, the hotel is on top of a semi short hill. But after walking all day, that hill started to feel like a mountain. But overall, I enjoyed my stay and the restaurant next door served great pasta dishes.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Shibuya, Harajuku, Roppongi Hills, etc are only a few subway stops away.

Clean and comfortable, but up a huge hill!
6.3
The hotel was clean and comfortable. There were heaps of amenities in the room - many that I had not seen a hotel provide before - hairbrushes, razors on top of the normal stuff. The room had a kettle, which was handy to heat up a cup of noodles of a night after a long day. The room was also very dark when the blinds were shut - which was great! The bathroom was seperated from the bedroom with half frosted half unforsted glass. It was hard to not disturb your partner when using the bathroom during the night or getting ready in the morning.
The location was quiet, both inside the hotel and the surrounding noise for the neighborhood. The hotel is located up a hill (a hill big enough to get puffed by walking up it). This was probably the most negative part about the hotel. Also, be aware that the airport bus service does not service this hotel, and the closest hotel it does service is a 15 minute walk away.

Good location and room comfort, but expensive
location, comfort, service
7.3
We stayed there for two nights, and enjoyed the central location (5' walk to subway). The room was small (Tokyo standards I guess) but the twin beds were very comfortable and we had a good sleep.
The service was good, however it was unfortunate that wifi was limited to the lobby, especially given price was rather high.
+ location, comfort
- features, price

Modern Hotel with helpful staff
Modern design and comfortable
7.3
we quite enjoyed our stay at the b akasaka. the location is terrific although you have to climb a hill each night from the metro station. it was clean, new, modern, and a decent size for tokyo. it had all we needed and the bathroom was ultra modern. the staff were friendly and helpful and could communicate on a basic level in english. but for the price, breakfast should be included!

my fiancé and i stayed in a twin room as it was on special but we just pushed the beds together and it was very comfy. great linen, clean room and towels every day. everything u need. the rooms are small but big enough i think. we were out everyday and just slept there and got ready so it was great. normal shower and bathroom not the usual asian style bathrooms. service was great. the front desk could speak english well and helped us with anything we needed. the location is really close to the akasaka station where u can take e subway easily to all famous attractions. we also walked for about 5 min to the busy roppongi area where there are great restaurants and bars and clubs if u like that kind of stuff. it's also close to the tokyo midtown park which is lovely and the roppongi hills building where u have to go!!! go to the building and up to the sky deck! u can see tokyo city and the sunset and at night it was amazing. it's open air so no windows in front of u. it's a must see! enjoy your travels
Travel tip:
Tokyo is ep take enough cash with u. Where comfy shoes our feet got so sore from all the walking u hAve to do.
