Great location, friendly staff

Housekeeping very thorough

We had a great time at the b-Akasaka. If your visit to Tokyo includes alot of sightseeing, then this is the hotel for you. The hotel has a spa, which we unfortunately did not make use of. It was great knowing it was there though as we walked Tokyo flat. If your plan is similar, then consider this little spa a godsend. Return to your hotel and relax. The staff were always incredibly friendly and willing to help, even at 3am when we returned to the hotel after a night out. The room size was adequate for the two of us for a four nights stay. If you're bringing BIG luggage, you might be squezzed for space.
Nightlife Tip: Rappongi, Rappongi, Rappongi... That is all!

English friendly hotel in a good location

Clean, good location

Akasaka B hotel provided me with a great stay. Laundry accomodations on the first floor along with a helpful staff made my stay very easy. Location up on the hill was a little tiring after a long night, but still a great location close enough to the heart of Tokyo to get anywhere you want to be in 10-20 minutes.

Tourist friendly hotel

Cleanliness, friendly staff with sufficient command of English to get you through the maze of Tokyo streets, lively and safe neighbourhood

We stayed at the b-Akasaka Hotel for three nights, with the purpose to visit as much as possible of the metropolis. Here are a few remarks: 1. The first impression is that of cleanliness: the room, the bed linnen and the bathroom are extremely clean, the towells, the bath robes and the bed sheets were changed every day. 2. Then, the proximity of the TBS Headquarters, with all the guards and police, makes it a safe hotel for those who like the Tokyo night life. 3. Breakfast is 1000 Yen per person. It is an in-between solution to accommodate both foreigners and Japanese customers, with Japanesee soup (two kinds), but also scrambled eggs, small sausages and fish (salmon) to go with. 4. There is an Italian restaurant, with a good selection of wines.
Hotel Feature Tip: 1. Though it takes a good physical condition to go uphill to the hotel from the Asakasa Station, with luggage and everything, you may go inside the great mall and use the escalators, thus saving half of the effort, or get around the TBS and close to the back entrance to the Blitz theatre there is an elevator which will get you to the upper level (fourth floor!) - the hotel is five minutes walk away. 2. The dimensions of the room are OK according to the Japanese standards. We reserved a superior twin to be sure of a little more space to move around. There are only a few hangers for your clothing, so do not bring much luggage with you.

the b akasaka provides an adequate tokyo stay at a moderate price. of course there is no wifi available in the rooms, only the lobby, standard for these hotels. not standard was that they do not provide complementary bottled water, however there is a lobby vending machine that obliges you. the location is good, not great, with the closet metro station being akasaka, and a 5-7 minute walk including a long stair case. akasaka mitsuke is also about 12-15 minutes away, depending on your pace. the stay was satisfactory.
Hotel Feature Tip: The closest path to the Akasaka station is through an apartment complex using the long outdoor staircase, to avoid an extra 3-5 minute hilly walk on the streets. Still not conducive to carrying luggage.

Great hotel in a chic and modern area

Clean, modern and comfortable

Such a fantastic hotel that was well designed, uber modern, super clean, and a great friendly staff. The area was really chic and modern as well. Great dining and drinking spots only a walk down the hill. Train station is also only a 5 min walk away. About a 20 min walk away from the main hustle and bustle of roppongi's party life. Overall a great place.

Well located compact hotel with a boutique feel

Location, cup noodle vending machine, multi nozzle shower

thanks to canny interior design, the b akasaka manages to pack a lot into a small space. the compact rooms provide robes, a desk, a torch (for late night excursions), an itty bitty fridge and a fantastic shower with a monsoon head and 3 horizontal nozzles packaged in a rocket style capsule. there may not be enough space to swing a cat around but hey, that's not what you're there for. in the lobby there's a communal laundry, a cup noodle vending machine, free wi fi (unfortunately absent from the room)and a coffee table of fake grass that gives the hotel a boutique-y feel. the location, in a quiet neighbourhood but close to all the action of roppongi, shibuya and shinjuku, is hard to beat and there are a number of good food options nearby.
Restaurant Tip: Umegaoka sushi no midori in the nearby Akasaka Biz Tower has a stellar lunch special.

Nice hub location and neighborhood links you to th

5 min walk to metro and travel to main tourist spots within 30 min metro ride

The hotel room embodies decent decor and warm lighting. It is spacious enough as compared to similar rate package hotels in the city. I particularly like the shower facilities, which allows me to refresh myself after a long sightseeing/shopping day. Most importantly, the hotel staff speak English and help solve problems efficiently. There is also a corner in the lobby where you can enjoy a cup of free coffee, which delights your morning for sure! I am happy to stay in this hotel upon my next trip!
Hotel Feature Tip: You can find a hidden elevator up the hill besides TBS side entrance. Don't rush to walk up the steep staircase on your way to the hotel.

Great hotel with nice rooms

Nice rooms, clean, friendly staff

nice, decent-sized rooms. very clean. stylish lights. hotel staff are very friendly & helpful. location - 5 min walk from the akasaka subway station; after exiting the station if you head towards the tbs station and turn right there is a elevator (which takes you up to the main street) at the end of the path before a massive flight of stairs. good when you have a few heavy luggage bags! the hotel is at the end of the main street.
