In Tokyo, remember to have your hotel name in Japanese. Directions to the hotel is also helpful, as cab drivers do not speak any english and many times do not know how to get to your destination without directions or a phone number.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The subway station is nearby, and good idea to use, but can be confusing the first time. If you are going to be there for a few days and want to get around. I suggest you buy the 11 tickets pass and buy the least expensive tickets, I think they are 160 yen each. Each ticket is only good for going in and exiting. 160 yen is all you need to get around the center of town. The 300 yen tickets are for commuters travelling longer distances.
