The hotel is overrated and overpriced.
It's nearby a subway station; lots of local restaurants nearby and a 24-hour supermarket across the road.

There is no escalator or lift to access the hotel lobby, we must carry our heavy luggage up the staircases with no option.

in general hotel is located in good area.
the hotel had twin beds. most of the similar hotels did not have twin beds. the metro station is close.

Very pleasant hotel

We found our stay at the b sangenjaya was very pleasant, nice and clean room, good breakfast, very attentive and helpful staff. Although the room is a bit small , it's still acceptable.. Great location and near to the station. Will definitely stay again.. The only thing which need attention is that they don't have wifi access in the room..

Very small rooms. One subway stop away from Shibuya, so not exactly in the heart of Shibuya. No free in-room wifi, only in lobby. No free bottle water. Hotel breakfast not good. But close to subway and local restaurants. Limited English from staff and locals.

The hotel was okay for the price. Rooms are very small, be warned if you are coming from the U.S. No free wifi, which is not a plus. The entrance only has stairs, so ask the hotel staff where the back elevator is if you have big luggage. There are a couple of laundry machines at the hotel. This hotel is not exactly in Shibuya, it is one subway stop away from Shibuya. However, hotel is close to subway station. Hotel staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, but they have limited English skills.

I look forward to staying at the same premises as it is relative easy to travel via rail to Shibuya or Shinjuku. Perhaps, its location is quite far from Shinjuku hotels where tourists may prefer due to better and quiker access to tourist spots and Tokyo.
Travel tip:
There is no porter 'cos it is not a 3 star hotel

This is a typical size room for a single in Tokyo. No complaints there. Room smelled a little stale, but everything was very clean... I get the feeling it wants to place as a boutique hotel, but that is stretching things slightly. It is very near the den-en-toshi line station, but for an average tourist, there are probably better locations to be had. You are very close to Shibuya station, but the den-en-toshi line is at the very bottom of the station, you'll be doing some trekking to get to the JR Yamanote line or other transfers.
I did not eat here so just gave the Food/Dining a 3.

Handy if you need to be in Sangenjaya
there is a self-service laundry on the top floor which is useful

We needed to be in this part of Tokyo and the location was only 2 minutes walk from a subway station. Otherwise this is a functional, fairly unremarkable hotel. Staff are friendly but their English is limited. Rooms are small. Breakfast was included in the room rate.
