Right next to the Gotanda Station and close to downtown Tokyo, this hotel is as convenient as it is extremely affordable.In a great neighborhood surrounded by lots of restaurants and shops, the contemporary Toko Hotel stands proudly. The hotel has 336 well appointed rooms with great views, a Japanese restaurant on the 1st floor, an Italian Restaurant on the second floor, and meeting rooms for those tending to business. Take a swim in either the indoor heated pool or the outdoor pool depending on your mood, or get fit in the state of the art fitness center.A great hotel for families that want reasonable rates, easy access to the city, and superb facilities.

You were one of the few hotels in Tokyo who permitted us to have three adult (our grown grand-daughter)persons per room and provided bedding for us all. We were delighted with the FREE washer and drier including FREE LAUNDRY SOAP! Free Internet!
The air conditioning did not work.
The neighbors down the hall smoked and smoke came into our room under the door.
The Toko Hotel is convieniently located just steps from the Gotanda train station. There were many varieties of shops and restaurants just steps from the hotel door.
The hotel was kind in providing us with an extra bed for our grown grand daughter. The rooms were clean and tidy each day.
We were delighted with the free laundry available complete with free soap when our clothes need a cleaning.
The two free Internet computers helped us keep in touch with our families at home.
Hotel Feature Tip : Never before have we seen a hotel (we have visited 50 countries) with free washing machines and free soap.

Clean, friendly, convenient.
Small rooms, not many features, area is a little run down.
The hotel is very convenient, right beside the train station and very central. If you just want somewhere to sleep while seeing some sights that is clean and basic this is a good option. The actual area itself is a little run down but overall it's was decent value for Tokyo. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

They did not inform us that they will not turn-off the air-conditioner during autumn
The location of Toko Hotel is very good. However they fail to inform the customers in advance that the air-conditioner will not be on during early autumn and the customers have to open the windows to sleep. Please take note that it is very noisy when you have to leave the windows open to sleep. Furthermore, different people will have different opinion whether it is cold enough to sleep without air-conditioner.
