GREAT!!!!
Location, price, sight seeing
I was very impressed by the hotel! The only thing bad that I could say was the public bath there like many others in Japan will not allow you to go if you have tattoos!

Japanese History view point
Room living place is large enough, with free shuttle bus for railway station connection.
No wifi connection in living room. Internet connection can only be achieved in lobby area with 15mins limitation.

larger than most Japanese hotel rroms
spa on roof, the brightness of the building and location to downtown parks
We walked a lot. That was close to the water is also nice.

Great location
Fantastic onsen
Staff were very helpful, transport to local station not Shin Shimonoseki. Taxi to Shin Shimonoseki costs about 2000 yen, taxi easier if you have a lot of luggage. Onsen was a wonderful find, separate male &female baths.

Close to port, helpful staff
Very comfy bed (Obusform pillow), clean, convenient location
Staff were very helpful and spoke some English. They printed out a bus trip schedule for us which was essential. There is only wired access to the Internet in the rooms, however, there are 2 computers in the foyer which are available for use. The breakfast was tasty and had a wide range of options. The hotel is walking distance from most of the surrounding sites - we walked back from Mt. Hinoyama. It is also in a great location for a morning jog as it is right on the waterfront. The free shuttle to the train and from the ferry are also useful. Dormy Inn was not excellent introduction to Japan.

Great for those without much luggage
beautiful hotel, room is very modern, extra clean, very very cool place to stay
really a nice hotel. probably best for single travelers but excellent rooms in modern style. Doubles are quite small and little room for big bags. That said we really enjoyed the hotel. Good location near the station. Would stay again.
