Expected more from this hotel...

I chose this hotel for one night (after staying in another hotel for three nights in Yokohama) because of its location near the water and a famous area. I was very unimpressed given the location, etc. While the hotel advertised that it had renovated a few years ago, the renovation was nowhere to be seen in the room. The room had outdated furniture and bathroom. More importantly, the room smelled like smoke even though I reserved a non-smoking room and the sheets and pillow smelled as if someone had already slept there. The pillow expecially needed to be thrown out given it was overused. And when I borrowed an iron and ironing board from the front desk, I quickly found out that they were overused too. My dress shirt smelled like the last three salaryman that had used it. For a hotel of this stature, why they did not replace a $5 mini ironing board is beyond me.
The positives of the place were a great view and decent sized room for the Tokyo area. And of course the check in and out was super quick, Japanese style.

Great hotel for good price!

We stayed at the Deluxe Twin room, the room had enough space for my 1yr old son to play around. One of the twin bed is sided with wall so we didn' need to care about him falling off the bed while asleep, which was also nice. There was less option for adjusting the room light in order for the light not to beam onto the bed, but you can avoid being completely dark by simply opening the curtain (loads of light from outside). Other than that, hospitality was nice (quick action when ordering Wine opener and plate), Location is great (less than 5 minute walk from nearest shopping centre and 10 minutes to the harbor). There is a small grass field just outside the hotel so you can let your child play there. I would reccommend this hotel for family with very young child.
also worth pointing out that this hotel is much cheaper than other good hotels around Yokohama.

"not so small" lovely hotel
hospitality of the staff in welcoming is great (no problem in English!)

Stayed for just couple hours for rest before continuing my trip in this small, yet comfortable, hotel. Location is great for shopping and sight seeing, highly recommended!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Use of 100Y bus in Yokohama is enough to get around for sightseeing if you only spend time/stay in Yokohama only, once you plan to get off to Tokyo then 1d JR pass is recommended.
