nice location, well equipped room
We had a room in the new building on the 9th floor with harbour view. It was well equipped and had a real large double bed. There were bath kimono's to wear. The interior of the hotel is classic and well maintained. You should have a look in the old building to get the feeling from early 20th century. We did not eat anything in the hotel, so we cannot rate it (that's why we,ve put it on 1).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Yamashita Park lies in front of the hotel and stretches out along the waterfront. Use it to walk to the attractions like the Silk museum.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. A few friends of ours have also told us of their great experience at this hotel.
Restaurant Tip : The restaurant that was recommended was within walking distance, had excellent food. Prices were a little high, but very comparable to other outstanding restaurants.
