Great Location

I used this hotel after a day trip to Kamakura, which worked out very well. It is right across the street from the JR Station, near the bay, and close to subway access to Chinatown, etc.

The hotel is very conveniently located, steps from a JR station and with lots of restaurants close at hand. I always love the view of the Yokohama harbour as well.
That said, my room was very small. I travel extensively in Japan, and this is definitely at the very smallest end of the scale, so much so that there wasn't room to open my carry-on suitcase anywhere but on the bed.
As well, the carpets are old and dirty, though the cleanliness of the room was fine.
Overall, this hotel would do in a pinch, but I would stay a little further from city centre next time in hopes of finding a slightly better room at a decent price point.
Restaurant Tip:
There's a Starbucks on the 2nd floor of the hotel - great for mornings!

although the room was on the small side (typical in japan), the facilities were more than adequate. the room was clean, house keeping staff were friendly. front desk staff were polite and helpful on all occasions that we approached them. we did not use the restaurant on this trip, choosing to eat outside as there are many eating and drinking options available locally. the hotel location is excellent, just 2mins from the rail station and within walking distance of many attractions (ladmark tower, china town etc).

2min walk to sakuragicho st. first timer will have a hard time finding its entrance because the receptionist is at 5th floor of a shopping mall. "greet" by smoking room before reach receptionist. very close to other shopping centers.

this is a modern high rise japanese business hotel which basically means the rooms are small but clean and well kept and if you want a non-smoking room, you still need to ask for it even though you reserved a non-smoking room. we purposely requested a bay view room and as a result had a great view of the minato mirai/yokohama skyline. the jr sakuragicho station is about 5 minutes walk and there is a beautiful shopping mall with restaurants about 10 minutes walk away.
the hotel is in the minato mirai area of yokohama and the immediate area has many hotels, restaurants, and large shopping mall. there is also an amusement park and giant ferris wheel and you can take a harbor cruise from the nearby pier. if you have a craving for american food, you can find mcdonalds, fridays, hard rock cafe, and kfc nearby. inside the mall is a metro station and a bus terminal is outside the train station.
the hotel has no restaurant but a 24 hour convenience store is located in the hotel lobby where you can get hot snacks, drinks and box lunches.
wired internet is provided in the room free of charge and there are computers connected to the internet for a fee. if you have a wireless 3g phone, you are out of luck.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
we stayed at this hotel during the sakura viewing season since the hotels in tokyo were either unavailable or too high priced. using our jr railpass we took quick, comfortable trips to tokyo using the local train to shin yokohama and then the bullet trains from shin yokohama to tokyo. these local trains were almost always empty and we had no problem finding seats on the unreserved bullet train cars. on the way back we took the bullet trains from tokyo to shin yokohama and then the local train back to sakuragicho. this is especially nice when traveling during morning rush hour when the local and express trains to tokyo are almost always really jammed.

not easily to find this hotel as the check-in counter locate at 5/f. you can smell heavy smoking when entering. the reason is the exit of smoking room is just in front of the elvator and no door to close. location great which nearby sakuragicho station (around 5 mins), small room but good seaside view.

this hotel is located at very startegic place and recommended to all the people who travel to japan.
the hotel just located at walking distance to mrt, and also airport express station. easy to find 24hours restaurant.
