Outdated but sufficient
Close to Shin-Yokohama station, cheap eateries and ramen musuem

Staff were very kind upon check-in, despite waiting a long time. Room looked incredibly dirty, stains peppered the floor. The bed was so old, it was caving in. You would roll in the middle because it was so worn out. Nothing in the room was new, everything looked shabby, even the welcome booklet. No wireless internet. Only saving grace of this hotel is the excellent city view. For the price, booking a regular business hotel would be better as it offers the same as they do and nothing more, in fact way more run-down than many other business hotels. Very close to the station and close to fast food. No point in spending the 2000yen for breakfast.

Convenient location to JR Station.
Quiet, close to JR Station, dining and shopping

Just a 3 minute walk to the JR Shin Yokohama station, great for catching the bullet train to Kyoto.
The lobby was nice, however the carpet in the hallways to the room and in the room was dirty, stained and needed to be replaced. The room was small which is normal for Japanese rooms, but was manageable. Room on the floor for suitcases.
The bathroom was a nice size compared to many of the others we have experienced in Japan.
The hotel is walking distance to dining and many shops.
