Quiet location, plenty of space
Plenty of space for the family
7.3
We booked the downstairs room which consisted of 2 double bedroom, a sitting area, bathroom and garden space. No view. The bedrooms are separated by the sitting room and an outside area with steps where the bathroom was located. This was fine for us with kids aged 7 and 11 but wouldn't have felt comfortable with smaller children as wouldn't be able to hear them easily in the night as had to have doors shut to keep the mosquitos out. The bathroom was basic and tended to stay wet once you had used the shower.
The location was good - quiet but close to the temples so could just step out in the morning to watch the alms procession without being intrusive. The breakfast was ok and we ate one lunch and one dinner there which were good, otherwise we walked 5-10 minutes into the busier part of town to eat.

Quiet Villa Close to the Best Temples
8.7
We stayed at Halolao Villa for 4 days with 2 adults and 2 children, and I would highly recommend this villa. We had 2 big rooms, bathroom, TV/living room and private outdoor patio area. The kids loved having their own TV area. The manager Sang spoke fluent English and was very helpful. The breakfast selection was good. Wifi signal in the rooms was OK but stronger upstairs. The Villa is located near the best temples and an easy walk to the night market and Royal Palace area.
Restaurant Tip:
Eat at Tangor on the the main street near the night market area. The restaurant is French inspired and the coffee is excellent and desserts to die for. The ambiance is very hip.

Lovely villa and welcoming environment
It is very cosy for traveler with family
9.3
We reached the villa at night, we were tired and can't wait to have a rest and good sleep. By the time we step into the villa, we were so excited with the welcoming environment. There were living hall and dinning area upon entering the 2nd floor. The room that we book has plenty of space for our family and most importantly it is clean specially if you have young child travel with you! We had a good night sleep at that night and not even aware that there was a drum sound at ~4.30am at the wat across the street. The villa located at strategic location which we were able to go places nearby by cycling or even walking. The noddles shop 2 doors away was fatastic. We decided to extend for another 2 nights and walking to night market at the 2nd day within walking distance (there are a lot of good restaurant along the way). The staff of the villa was very friendly and helpful. I think we will come back soon.
