easy to approach the center I have slept in this hotel one night and i see that the Service is not so good, breakfast is very very simple and the room is not so clean. The reception can not speak well English so it is really hard to ask for informations of Luangphabang. There is no HBO or cinemax in the TV chain.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Luangphabang is very nice city, it looks like Sapa of Vietnam. The people is very simple and warm heart.

The room is perfect, nice people, good breakfast!!!
The hotel is very beautiful and well-organized!!! The location is a bit far from downtown. It´s not a big deal, in 15 min. walking you´re there.

not really cheap; far from the center. this hotel is good, room clean and bed comfortable but it is quite expensive for the quality. the bigger problem is the distance to the center of Luang Prabang: fivteen minutes of walking! Breakfast is also not terrible.

A common balcony - special good if you smoke The breakfast was just food - and the Laocoffee something different. It is a very pleasant hotel with a good atmosphere - small rooms and no luxury, but acceptable for the money. A bit far from the city, but more quiet than the hotels/guesthouses on the mainstreet.

They were polite and smiling A very long walk to the interrest point The hotel is a very long walk to the city, minimun 15 minutes fast walk in the dust.Every night ,it s starts at around 5 o clock till past midnight, a very lound music .They were making some renovation, constructing a new wing, it was full of sand, bricks, ect. all over, there were a stack of matressess in the corridor.The rooms were not very nice either.The personel were polite and smilling.

Breakfast was fine, hotel was overall value for money Could not walk from town, as too far away We were only in Luang Prabung for 1 night (was coming back at a later time), therefore booked into this hotel as it was cheap. The rooms was basic but OK. The hotel is a short way from town so you had to get a tuk tuk in (too far to walk, would take about 30 minutes). Breakfast was OK.
Travel tip : There is nothing much around this area, and the hotel does not have a great area to relax in. It is only a short tuk tuk ride into town, so I would spend my day in town or on a tour to the waterfall or caves!

Very noisy room in spite of quiet room requested: Heavy construction work from 0700 am to 1700 pm 3m off room window. Room was exchanged by "quiet" room next day but there the outside vent of the air condition made the whole wall vibrate. Unfriendly, sleepy reception staff. Location outside city near (less than 1 km) funfair with loud music
Yes, the price is rather low, but for the price quoted you can get far better accommodation in Luang Prabang. Seems to be a favorite place for young Korean people who contribute to the noise during nighttime. Furniture old and not very much comfortable. Hotel is not very clean but Dust may be originated by the construction work directly alongside the hotel building

The hotel was being refurbished when we stayed so the facilities were very limited as the dining room was outside and freezing.
The standard of the room was below par for the cost. Lights not working, poor decoration, balcony looking out over rubbish. All in all we were disappointed with the standard and service of this hotel for the cost involved.
Also it is too far away from the center of Luang Prabang. They even charged us for taking us back to the airport which we believed was a free service.

Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient at arranging our tours. The room was large and clean: no complaints. Breakfasts were very poor. The dining room was rather depressing. (A new dining room wing is under construction and the building going on was a little intrusive.) Hotel staff were good at helping with our tours and the accommodation was fine but the breakfasts we had were poor. On the first day the food had clearly been cooked long before the arrival of guests (there was a tour party) who had attended the early morning's monk's merit making ceremony. Everything was cold. Thereafter food was cooked but without imagination and of not a very high quality. The dining room was not attractive and had open windows but it is to be replaced and building was under way.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Many excellent sites to visit and easily reached. A wonderful night market in the main street with many great bargains. Good quality restaurants.

out of town, unfriendly staff, lousy breakfast. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take the Elephant walking tour and make sure to include bathing with the elephants. It was a lifetime experience. Great! The whole city is worth wile to stay a couple of nights.

It is a little to far away from the center of Luang Prabang. Breakfast is very bad, not comparable to other three star hotels.
Construction directly near hotel, not funny in the morning!!!! Housekeeping clean rooms in the early morning, also very loud!!!
You can find better hotels or guest houses in Luang Prabang!!!

a bit far to walk into town Hi i enjoyed my stay at Haysoke Hotel, though it was a little far to walk into town and taxis are very limited. It was only about 1km out but after doing it several times a day it gets a bit tiring. The rooms where comfortable and the breakfast was ok. The hotel was very quite and very peaceful. Overall it was a good stay. Though next time i will look for a close hotel in town.
