Location, new

hard mattress, dark room

Went for an extended weekend to Luang Prabang, enjoyed the town. Going to LP I would definitely advise to get accommodation centrally in the old town, but away from the busier (this is relative) streets. Lotus' location is excellent. Bed/mattress was too hard, didn't sleep well. No TV (didn't miss it, but if you plan to stay longer). Rooms are stylish, but dark (at least in the ground floor, where one can see into your room when blinds are open. Staff was nice But frankly, there are a lot of new or newly renovated guesthouses around which seem to offer the similar comfort for less money. At least in the low season you could easily go to LP without a reservation and choose a good guesthouse. I felt I paid too much for this hotel.
