We made a good choice to stay here. Simple but adequate. We fell in love with Luang Prabang.

It was a lovely experience!
free coffee/tea and bananas, English speaking and obliging staff, the location on the riverfront with the Mekong flowing by

The hotel has a touch of class although it has just 10 rooms. The use of wood is clever and lends a wonderful ambiance to the place. There is something old about it, possibly the wooden panelling... the ceiling and floors make it quite remarkable.

Pleasant stay
The bed was big and comfortable. The location is just superb as it is walking distance to most tourist attractions, markets, temples and the river. Fast internet.
7.3
All in all it was pleasant. My only complaint is that I hang the "Please make up room" sign outside my door but unfortunately, my room was not made up by any of the staff for the entire time I stayed there.

worth it's price
Cleanliness, Location and English Speaking Staff
8.3
I stayed there for 2 nights, the room was actually big enough for a solo traveller. The interiors were designed in Old French style giving you this feeling that you have been transported in an old era.

Great stay, comfortable rooms, good location.
location, cleanliness, language ability of staff
7.3
We had a great stay at Mekong Holiday Villa - i would recommend for those who want to be near the night market etc but with the riverfront and quieter location. At first we thought the staff were great- very attentive to where we were going etc - however we had one problem with the hotel. We opted to get our laundry done and when it was returned a dress was missing. When we questioned this the staff were very rude and insisted we had it, even though we knew for certain we didn't. He didn't do anything to help and in the end we refused to pay. A good hotel otherwise, really good experience, just maybe dont use the laundry service.

Friendly staff with cozy rooms
Staff, riverfront, close to everything!
7.7
Rooms are very cozy and humble, you don't need much since you are surrounded by lovely atmosphere and people in this town! staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is limited with options but it's very satisfied for both ABF and Laotian breakfast. Location of the hotel is very convenience, it's right at the riverfront(too bad they have no balcony)and at the back, you have both morning market and night market!!also, walkable to everywhere!

A little disappointing
Location, free internet in lobby which was not very reliable
6.7
Room on the ground floor: ok the first night because no one was in room above. The next nights, it sounded like elephants all night above my head. Floor was very dirty first day. Not very accommodating about wanting a slightly earlier breakfast.
