Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Nice enough hotel shame about the airport service
Good location, clean pleasant rooms

overall we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. it was just a couple of mins walk from the main street and near some nice temples that we overlooked when eating an ok breakfast. as we had an early morning flight we asked the hotel to organise a taxi to the airport which is a ten minute drive. they charged us which was ridiculous! so stay there but don't use their extra services as the prices are not in line with anything else in laos!

Nice hotel, let down by desire to make a fast buck
nice room, excellent location
5.3
This is a nice hotel, it's well located, has lovely surroundings, and the rooms are pretty good. Unfortunately, however, they are happy to massively overcharge for everything compared to going rates. We wanted a taxi to the airport (getting to the hotel this cost $12US) we wanted one back and it is VERY difficult to find one in LP, so we asked our hotel to help, they arranged one at a cost of $40US!!! The driver told us he was paid $15 for the trip, this is a disgrace, we would've got one ourselves but the very early time of our flight meant we were somewhat stuck with the hotel's dishonesty.
Restaurant Tip:
L'elephant, about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, though pricey for LP has fabulous french food.

A haven of peace in a haven of peace!
Good service, great breakfast, comfortable and good value

The hotel is well situated in the centre of the old town, but towards the end of the peninsula, so away from the bustle of the night market (and morning market). Rooms are within the hotel courtyard, so the only noise that penetrates is the early morning temple drumming. Staff is friendly and helpful (even providing parking off the street at no extra cost). Breakfast is varied and plentiful, and there is a good little coffee shop next door for fresh breads and cakes!
Restaurant Tip:
30 metres up from the hotel is the Thannak Restaurant and Cookery School. Food and service are excellent.

Great boutique hotel in LP!
great location, nice staff, great view!
8.3
We loved our stay at Pavillion, which is located towards the end of the main road, opposite to many wats. It was quiet most of the time and close to bakery and river. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are new and clean. We will definitely stay there again.
Restaurant Tip:
definitely try out the Tamarind food and the cooking class! you need to book ahead of time tho, since it is very popular!

Delightful hotel and surrounds
Large rooms and a feeling of privacy
8.7
This hotel was very pleasant, with large rooms and nice surroundings. It was at the quieter end of the penisula, but had the best viewing of the monks early morning walk for offerings. The staff were friendly and helpful and a very nice breakfast is served on the balcony overlooking the adjacent wat. Only one power point for charging.
Restaurant Tip:
Try Rosella Fusion just around the corner river. We had stir fried eggplany with chicken and a green chicken curry - delicious - and their fruit shakes are yummy. Closed Sundays. Best coffee is at Joma - Le Benneton's service and coffee is very mediocre.

Good location but staff with limited capacity
Good location just a walk from the center
5.7
we wre not very happy about our stay in laos in general and in this hotel in particular. even relatively simple things like asking the staff to "make an international phonecall" was difficult. while we were there it got extremely cold, yet they recused to provide another blanket. (the hotel was with few guests).
we came from thailand and were under the impression laos would be a similar experience just backward in time. we could not have been more wrong. take the friendliness and openness of the thaipeople and turn it into the opposite and you start to be close to the human climate in luang prabang. it's all about the next buck!
Travel tip:
The nearbuy waterfalls (about one our by taxi) are turqoise colored and extremely beautiful.

nice view
view to Nam Khan and green hills
5.7
nice view to the hills; only from the restaurant view to the main street where the monks pass in the early morning. breakfast rather poor. staff helpful to organize sight-seeing tours.
Hotel Feature Tip:
choose upstair rooms with view to the Nam Khan and green hills; downstair rooms have no view and little privacy

we really enjoyed our 5 nights at the view pavillion. The staff are friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean. we had difficulty with the wifi connection but it does work at the main lobby. The mountain view room is the best. There are many good restaurants close by. Rent a bicycle at the guest house next door and take in the wonderful scenery of Luang Prabang. We loved this area of Laos.
Restaurant Tip:
elephant, Apsara, Bon café

Great location and view from upstairs rooms.

Beautifully presented room. Great bathroom except the shower plumbing leaked a little and the basin faucet was loose. Minor issues....would definitely stay here again.
