Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Nice hotel. Great location, walking distance to Main Street but far enough away to avoid noise, except for a rooster in the morning sometimes. The staff allowed me to keep my bag there overnight while I drove north to Nong Khiaw.

Id go back in a heartbeat!'
Just three? Lovely setting, centrally located, efficient staff, great breakfast included, cozy room with very comfortable bed!

We really loved this hotel. We called ahead and the day manager made sure we had transportation from the airport. He met us on the veranda with fresh, cold juice and delivered our bags to our room, which was really lovely. The room was very clean and pleasantly furnished. We had clean towels every day, and took advantage of the laundry service. We were across the street from the Royal Palace and Wat, down the street from the Mekong River, one quiet block from the central district of small businesses, shops and Lao and French fusion restaurants, and Luang Prabang's delightful night market started at the end of our street! We were seemingly within walking distance of everything that mattered, until we climbed the steep path to the ancient Wat at the top of the mountain (again at the end of our street) and saw the City laid out before us. So much yet to discover! . My only regret is that we could not have stayed longer. We most definitely will return....

Budget friendly, great location, simple
8.7
This hotel is great for people traveling on a budget. We got our room for $30/night. The rooms are small but if you're in Laos you shouldn't be spending much time in your room anyway. The rooms are clean and consisted of a bed, small desk, tv and mini fridge and A/C. The bathroom is small, combo toilet/shower area which is common in most hotels. Breakfast is simple, eggs, fruit, french toast, juice. Staff is friendly. The thing we loved the most was in the morning if you want to see the monks come by you can sit on the patio and watch them walk by at sunrise. It's a quiet street so you get to watch them without all the tourist shoving cameras in their faces. It's quite serene.

Good value for the money
Central location near shops and restaurants
8.7
This small guesthouse has an excellent, central location. It is just across the street from the National Museum and around the corner from the night market and also the Mekong River, where there are many outdoor restaurants.
There are only 7 or 8 rooms and they are a little small (and so is the TV). As with most guest houses in Laos, the upstairs rooms are better because they have more light and less noise. There is plenty of hot water in the shower. The wi-fi works fairly well, depending on the time of day, and the service is friendly and attentive.
I come to Luang Prabang at least once a year and I figure that I have stayed in at least 13 different guesthouses. With its very central location, I think that the Villa Laodeum is the best value for the money that I have found, and I will probably stay here again next time.

Lovely hotel, great location and good service
9.3
We stayed at the hotel for three nights during the Chinese New Year. The hotel reminds me of the old-fashioned Shanghai style with wooden stairs, small rooms, wooden windows, flowers growing from tiles... its lobby is also very nice with fences around. Its location is very convenient for visitors. The room is really small, not enough to add an additional bed for our kid. But the hotel kindly provided us with a mattress to sleep on. Western style breakfast is very good.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't forget to bring with you toothbrush and toothpaste.
