One of the good hotel near major attractions

The hotel is not far from most of the attractions of the town. They also provide service for booking tour,bus. It's well decorated. I stay in the family room for 4 persons. The room is big and the bed is comfort. The staff is willing to help even not able to help much.

Villa Saykham has a gret location, as it is right in the center of Luang Prabang without being to noisy. We stayed in a family room which was very large and suitable for 4 people (1 double bed + 2 single). This room is on the street side and event if Luang Prabang is a quiet place, we could hear some traffic in the early hours (motorcycles and cars). The other rooms int the backyard are probably nicer and quieter. Last point that could be improved : the breakfast. Few fruits, one day without jam ... The staff is very nice and helpful if required.

My overall experience of this hotel was extremely positive for the reasons I have outlined in the Pros section above. It is also in a great location (central but quiet). My only reservation is that, by Laos standards, it is perhaps a little overpriced, although to be fair Luang Prabang does seem to be generally more expensive than the rest of the Country. Oh, and for the price I paid I would expect a shower that worked properly. However, I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.

we were very happy with our stay at villa saykham. the front desk was extremely helpful and always happy. the mornings began early with the monks taking alms and their procession past the hotel at 6:30 am
our room was clean and comfortable and very close to the night market as well as the river.

Simply a lovely place to stay in quiet LP

The location, smack bang in the middle of the old town, couldn't be better and it's right around the corner from the main street. Rooms are clean and a decent size with a cosy bathroom. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but the omelettes were delicious. I'd definitely stay here again.

Perfect location, just off Sisavangvong/Sakkaline Road, close to the Royal Palace museum and the Night Market. Staff is friendly and helpful and rooms are spacious. We had no problems with the hot water. WiFi is free but don't expect 4G speeds.
Luang Prabang is a delightful place to visit. I usually find guidebook statements like "a relaxed place where your pulse slows down" to be nothing more than hollow cliches, but for Luang Prabang it actually rings true. Our favourite was the Kuang Si waterfall. We took a boat to a village close to the falls (took about an hour) and then our boatman, mr Atdee, helped us arrange a truck ride for the final 20 minutes.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Boat trips to Pak Ou Caves, boat and/or tuk tuk to Kuang Si waterfalls.

Nice hotel in great location

Overall this was a very nice hotel wih decent rooms that were always kept clean. The location is perfect and it wasn't too loud. Only complaints were that the hot water was not hot and the wifi was terrible.

The hotel is in a very central location. You may have to put up with some drumming and clashing cymbals as early as 4 plus am on certain holy days as there is temple just next door - it happened to us on one out of the three days we were there. But guess you can just go back to sleep after that as it doesn't last too long. The room was spacious - we had a triple room - and tastefully decorated. A bit of problem controlling the hot water in the shower - kept switching between being too cold or too hot. But no complaints other than that. There wasn't much variety for breakfast - but having it al fresco in the courtyard was nice.
