Such a beautiful place, always feels special
location, style, room size
You can't visit here and not feel like it's something special. The history for the hotel is so special and for sure, there aren't many places like this in Laos. The price is very fair for what you get. It's a place with a lot of charm and charaacter. We love staying here everytime....if you can splurge, book the King Suite....wow.

Live like royalty!
Spacious rooms open onto wide marble verandahs with sweeping views across the river. Exudes oppulence from a bygone era!
Room was spotless, large and had good aircon. Comfy beds and very quiet. Views from the balcony were spectacular! Great buffet breakfast including east/ west options. Able to leave bags in storage for a few days. Staff very helpful. Hotel is a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of town but tuk tuks are plentiful and the stay is luxurious. Hotel and grounds are great to explore. Would definitely stay again!

quite ok
daytime staff extremely pleasant and helpful, particularly Mr Souk
Not a bad place for a night stopover on the way to / from 4000 islands. They should fix the water pressure at upper floors and improve the quality of the breakfast

love staying at the Palace...
historical significance, design, location and views
We stay here often...It's a really lovely place with a throwback to the days of old and a time in aos not often seen....upgrade and get a better room...food is rotten, eat outside, prefer the Hotel Paris

Only good thing - it WAS a Palace
the palace-like features, the vast area, the massage beside the hotle
1.Booked a king bed, but given 2 small beds (twin), they joined the beds the next day; 2.The windows of the room open to the walkway, so did not open the windows. All rooms are like that; 3.Have complimentary shuttle to the airport (only 15mins away; 4.Only 1 restaurant; did not use it except for the breakfast; 5.Not many eateries outside . nearby except for Lao Coffee; a Vietnamese noodle shop which were OK

Good food selection
Included breakfast very. Good. Size of rooms are very good. Location is quiet
Our stay there was good except for the fact that the air conditioner required service and only worked as a fan and there was no cooling so we had 2 very warm nights. The water pressure was also poor. On the positive side the meals were good and at a reasonable price and the view from the 6th floor over the town is very good.

My Three Days' Staying at Champasak Hotel
Centrally located, Convenience, Architecture.
It's okay, standard, not as I expected, the room needs to be remodeled, shower pressure was very low, there’re insects crawling on the floor. The Staffs were friendly and helpful, the food was good
