Nice, clean, utilitarian hotel. Nice helpful staff. Good roof restaurant.
A bit shabby around the edges.
We stayed at this property two times, one nite coming and one nite going from a Vat Phou tour. It is extremely convenient to the river and a central market, and to downtown. The staff is helpful tho' a bit "over trained." (Too much bowing!) We ate both evenings on the roof. Decent, good prices, but not great.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : 2 blocks walk to the river restaurants and to the Vat Phou launch.

Reasonably priced, western-style hotel. Clean. European management. Has all the basics. Nice roof restaurant.
A bit shabby around the edges. Staff is TOO attentive, if anything. Too much bowing! Slow elevator. Dark stairways and halls.
This hotel was extremely convenient to downtown and the river front. They were accommodating and we had a nice room with all the basics, but no "frills" like hair dryers or robes or slippers.
It was the perfect location to stay if you take the Vat Phou cruise, or want to be near the river front.

Restaurant on the roof, desk staff, the personable owner.
Not the fanciest hotel you can find, other than that no cons.
Hotel was clean, great view from the room, restaurant on top was awesome with very good food.
Hotel Feature Tip : I usually don't like to dine at the hotel where I am staying. But on a warm night, the restaurant on top the Pakse hotel is the place to be.
