Lovely hotel, great location but obnoxioux staff

The plumbing needs to be repaired: leaking taps and hot water not mixing.
The breakfast is not great.
The reception girls need to stop looking down on guests.

This is one of the great hotel, with great service, great location, and nice environment.
Check-in and check-out process are smooth, and the staffs are friendly. Rooms are clean and fully equipped, even with free snacks and drink everyday.
Hotel's restaurant are nice in environment, and the food are good too. Nearby hotel, there is a night market just foot steps away.
Shopping Tip:
Night market is situated nearby the hotel, just foot steps away. You can do some nice local shopping there.

Great boutique location at a very nice location

the stay was very pleasant and the garden is beautiful. we did however had to change rooms due to an airconditioning leak problem. they should maintain the rooms better but it was a lovely hotel which we would visit again.
Restaurant Tip:
Eat in Makphet restaurant near the hotel, you will support a good children charity as well as get wonderful Loation food.

just what you would expect from a top hotel in bangkok - well appointed, excellent service with very helpful and friendly staff that speak english. good selection of food and beverage, large sized pool. good location overlooking the river and only a short taxi ride from downtown, the station plus good connection to the airport. rooms good size with large bathrooms, mini bar and wifi - good room service. well recommended.

Living in Vientiane for months, I can tell you that this is the nicest boutique hotel. Located in a small side street off the main road it is the perfect place for an enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this place!

The rooms are in other buildings from the main hotel building set within a lovley garden area. Great selection for breakfast which is served outdoors and a nice bar inside to relax in after a days sightseeing. All staff very helpful and they all spoke very good English. Only down side was that we thought the hotel was not geared up enough for organising trips/sightseeing, we could only hire a car/taxi and thought it very overpriced, best to go elsewhere for this type of service.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotel will charge you double what the taxi fare is to the airport, ask for a taxi and not their airport shuttle service.

Everything was positive with the hotel and its staff, however!
My trip involved checking out and checking back in a few days later. This apparently caused quite some confusion and on both occassions staff told me I was not booked in. All sorted but felt quite annoyed as mt traveling parnter ended up paying my hotel bils which had already been paid. (Dave Stweart)
Also staff failed to understand that my credit card was signature only, but they wanted a pin number !!!!!
The lady at the desk on the last day managed to get it all sorted but I would'nt want the stress a second time !

Nice hotel in excellent location
Great location on a quiet street but only half a block from the river front.

Everything was just as advertised. An average sized room but with a nice patio overlooking the garden. The room and bathroom were impecably clean and everything worked, including the complimentary laptop computer. Wifi was also fine on my own computer. Service was friendly and professional. The included breakfast on the deck was very pleasant. We had a light lunch from the small room service menu which included excellent french fries.
