Barely any English spoken
Vientiane for tourists is all about the waterfront and this is no where near it. A 15 min ride away, costing 30,000 kip. It is slightly closer to some of the embassies for those on a 'visa run', but overall nothing especially to commend its location. No internet facility for those without computer. Breakfast adequate. Overall, functional, it does the job of a good bed for the night.

Nice cozy environment

Far from the city and often confused by the tut-tut driver between Aroon Resident in the city.
Aroon Hotel is perfectly for those who wish to stay outside the city. A little isolated, but it is a less than 5 minutes bicycle ride to the famous Patoxai building. The interior design capture a more old fashion style in terms use of wood base furnitures, decoration and cozy feeling; like you are staying in olden days hotel :).
Will come back here to stay if I have a chance to visit Vientiane city again!!
