Great Location with Great Staff

Had a great time in Vientiane at the Aroon Residence. The rooms were good, but not great. but at least the internet was free. The location was perfect, right in the middle of town. If you're staying for business, this is where you want to be. The staff is great. The owner is a great guy, very nice.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you plan to travel to Vang Vieng, talk to the reception and they can get you a great price on a private car.

i was impressed with the size and cleanliness of the room. hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. i would recommend aroon to friends visiting laos and vientiane.

Huge room
Quiet location with spotless rooms

Quiet location approx 10 minutes walk to the city centre. The room was huge, at least twice as big as any we struck in Laos.
Only low point was the breakfast which was disappointing.

stayed at the aroon residence for 12 days. the rooms are always clean and tidy. the staff are always friendly and willing to help. the breakfast is filling.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
10 mins walk to the Morning Market.

the hotel was okay although we requested and paid for a balcony and didn't receive one plus a lot of things agoda mention are included weren't. like no iron, hair dryer, room safe, bathtub, bathrobe etc.....
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There is not a lot to see, one day trip does it all.

Good location, nice staff but old rooms

The location is quite central and you can walk to the main sightseeing spots and the restaurants.
The staff is very nice even if some of them do not speak English. The room is big and has air condition, but everything is quite old, there are windows with no tends and the lights are kept switched on even during night. On top of that, the building is noisy and you do not really rest at night.
It's very basic hotel and would be enough for people that sleep in any condition.
They offer a complimentary shuttle to the airport.

we have stayed 2 days at aroon residence, and had good time there. the hotel is very simple and only provides basic need. the breakfast is not at all what we use to have. but for the price we paid, it is already more than we could ask. for those who need to pay expensive flight tickets so want to save some budget on hotel like us, this would definitely be a hotel i recommend.

In a quiet end of town, but only 10 minutes from downtown. Clean rooms and very quiet at night. Arrange tours and onward transport at the reception. Very good staff and lovely if limited breakfast selection. Overall a good choice.

We stayed at Aroon Residence in an executive room.The room was huge and spotlessly clean.All the staff at this hotel from the cleaner to the owner were always friendly and polite.The cleaner especially seemed to never stop the whole day.The breakfast choice was excellent and choices changed daily.The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the bus stain and morning market and 15 minute walk to the main cafe and river area.All the staff seemed to speak good english and were always friendly and courteous.I would highly recommend this hotel.
