Big room, staff is friendly, within city center, in walking distance to the bus station.

This hotel is filthy dirty and falling apart. Our bathroom was covered in mould and rancid. The bedroom was not much better. Carpet was stained and looked like a crime scene from CSI. Bed linen was stained. Safe did not work. Animals (rats I think) crawling in along the suspended ceiling. Windows did not properly. The list of faults are endless.

Large run down hotel that has seen better days.Stained carpets, uneven floors, didn't see any other guests..a bit eerie. But...big room and despite the stains the bathroom and bedding were clean. The staff{only saw a few)were friendly and helpful. An interesting stay.

The Hotel had very nice large rooms and a good washroom nice toilet, tub, plenty of hotwater. The bed was very confortable. It was in quite area but very close to the sky train so it was easy to go to a more entertaining district which was just 6 or 7 stops away costing 25 or 30 baht. The lobby was nice but the the hotel lacked ammeneties like a pool would have been nice. Good value for the money.

Old, dirty hotel with very few good points
5
hotel is old and worn. basically, the hotel is falling apart slowly. carpets are stained, hallways are dark, and there are very few people staying at the hotel these days. we saw maybe 10 other guests the entire 3 days we were there. bathrooms needed bleach sprayed everywhere to combat the mold/mildew.
rooms were large, and cable tv was nice. fridge was nice and they gave two bottles of water for free daily. staff was helpful and spoke decent english.
they had a safe in the lobby that we used for passports, etc. we did not feel our things would be safe in the room. power went out unexpectedly for about 10min with no reason. elevator broke while we were there but was up and running the following day.
i would not stay here again. there are many many other cheaper hotels and hostels around town, closer to the river, and much nicer.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Stay somewhere else.

Worth for monney that I had paid. Surounding with many tourism place, restaurants and fun environment. I will strongly recomending if anyone plan to visit Laos, they can stay in this hotel. Its very near to Mekong river which is border to Thailand. Those who are staying here also can enjoy massage near this hotel. Very near to night life entertinment, just walking distance.

an interesting hotel
massive suites, cheap, location, big bathrooms, mini bar, nice staff
5.3
it's an ageing hotel. the corridors are dank, musty, stained carpets traverse the floor. the rooms are enormous but the interior designers must've been asleep at the wheel, the bed is placed a mile from the tv and there's a big void in the middle. the linen is stained. you'd be impressed that things still work in a place like this. but in spite of these, there's a lot to like about it. the spaciousness of the suite, the silence, the location, and thoughtful touches like a clean mini-bar, and hair dryer in the bathroom, which itself is clean. the lack of insects. no ants or roaches to be found here.

I have stayed at Asia Pavilion for 3 days. It was very luxury hotel but maybe the business lost, so the Hotel is more and more old. It stays in the big road and near Vientanie Central.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Let stay in high floor
