Very pleasant stay at the Best Western Vientiane. The front desk mistook our arrival time at the airport so we had to take a taxi to the hotel (for $8.00), but they made up for it with a complimentary return to the airport when we left.

This is a nice hotel near the riverfront. There's not much to do in Vientiane, but it is worth a couple of days of your time and this is a good hotel to use as a base.

The Hotel is conveniently located in the main Shopping and Dining area of Vientiane. It offers comfortable rooms, a nice Swimming pool. Staff is friendly and helpful. The choice of breakfast is however rather limited. Unlike during previous stays, the free WiFi was very slow.

Fantastic location & lovely lobby/restaurant/bar area. The rooms & baths are old, worn & used. Nothing updated at this place, room-wise, since it was originally opened as a different hotel. Complimentary airport shuttle is a plus. Best area in Vientiane for restaurants, bars, shopping & sightseeing. Wooden room floors beautiful, but dusty during entire stay. No robes, & the slippers may be the most disgusting thing I have ever experienced at a hotel --- they were USED. Had hair on them & the soles were black with dirt. Bottom of shower curtain also dirty & not recent dirt.

We got the room very quick and they also provided baby cot as requested. The best is the room s were clean and comfortable. Good for todler and baby to enjoy .Room service is very good and they can advise you the best option if you can communicate with them. Please be reminded that should keep the key card safe as it would cost 30 USD per 1 card.d

Vientiane is a lovely quiet city with a lot of old colonial charm. Staying at Best Western helped us to enjoy our time with easy access to all city amentities and great service.
