This was my second stay at this hotel and I would highly recommend it to others. It is very clean and there are a lot of windows in the room, so it seems bright and cheerful. The bathroom is big and excellent and has separate bath and shower facilities. The location of the hotel is very good and is in walking distance of many places. Compared with other hotels in Laos, it is one of the best.

I was staying at room 203. Everything perfect in the room except the cushion. Very tough. But the air condition did not work well. Very hot. Early in the morning smelling food from the kitchen to my room.
Front desk staff has very limited knowledge of map of Vientiane.

Restaurant Tip:
My favorite breakfast place is Le Banneton. Always good bakery and bread there.
If you are coffee lover please drop by The Sinouk Cafe located near River front. Nice ambience, very helpful staffs, and the best coffee in town.
Vieng Nem Neung Vietnamese Food is a must to eat. The best grilled pork ball wrapping with vegetable in town. Also boiled soup with coconut water to dip with fish, pork and beef.
Mix Restaurant and Bar. Next to the fountain. Fushion Thai, Laos, and International food. Nice music and nice place to hang out for dinner and drink.

This hotel's location was good for walking to the night market area of Vientiane and eating places catering for every type of international fare. Each floor has its own wi-fi, all of which are free. A nice room with tv, fridge and air-con. Additionally there is a nice verandah on the ground floor where you can have a pleasant Lao beer as you watch the world pass by. Just keep an eye on your bill from here as there are signs stating happy hour prices which they failed to give until queried.

Very satisfied with my 3 nights stay &would definitely use City Inn again. Rooms are good size and bed / bedding very comfortable. All the following room features were above par: Lighting, tea maker,water pressure & shower vg, towels, bath gels. Large flat screen TV with many channels.
Staff very pleasant, most spoke very little English. Airport transfers efficient. Noodle soup suited me fine for breakfast. Other meals acceptable /average. Location was ideal.
Overall an impressive 3* hotel and therefore very good value.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Nirvana Spa just down the road. Recommended (had very good foot massage)
