Good Value & Good Location.

my family & i were very happy with our stay at d’rose hotel. the hotel is in a good location with large rooms. a supermarket is around the corner, a travel agency as well if you want to arrange your onward bus journeys, restaurants.
the fountain & black stupa are both under 2 blocks away.

Reasonable Value with Large Rooms.

The standard of this hotel was exactly what I expected.
The rooms are large & while the decor is not what you say is modern it is a clean & well maintained hotel.
The hotel staff are eager to please & part of the reason I rebooked for 2 further nights a D’Rose Hotel.
The free breakfast is very good including an egg station & has different cooked items each day.
We ate at the smorgasbord in the hotel on 2 nights & found it fantastic with a large variety & good quality food.
The only negative was the TV reception which is abysmal in room 203. We were offered another room as a result but declined as by the time we had unpacked everything & being tired from travelling we could not be bothered.
The WiFi is good & does not require a password meaning you can access the internet on your laptop & mobile phone(s) at the same time (in our case 3 mobiles & a laptop). This was very handy for my family’s needs.
The hotel is a 8-10 walk to the riverside. A mini mart is 30m from the hotel plus The Pizza Company & Svensons Ice Cream are no more than 200m away. There are also many other good Laos/Western style restaurants with in a block from the Hotel.
Overall my family & I were very happy with our stay at D’Rose Hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
About 100m from D’Rose their sister hotel D’Rose Inn is located.
This hotel is a little bit more budget/singles orientated but has a fantastic restaurant serving Laos/Western Style food. The serves are of large size & great quality at a budget price.

BAD ENVIRONMENT HOTEL WITH LOW CLASS SERVICE

When I arrive to this hotel , no staff take care customers ( they went to have dinner )no Bell's boy take care family 's bag. I got family deluxe ( 2 rooms ) at 2nd floor how expensive but bad service. We come back to hotel after dinner about 7 PM and then this hotel has group party at lobby from 7.3 - 11 PM. Our family cannot sleep , cannot relax. Our children cry all night from loudy environment. We got a lot of mosquitoes biting. In the morning we go to lobby to have breakfast but no food at service center , little staffs take care. After we come back from this hotel, our son go to admit in hospital in Thailand from severe mosquitoes biting. We will not return to this hotel and LOAS.

ใกล้ตลาดเช้า สามารเดินเที่ยวเองได้ใกล้ร้านอาหาร สะดวกแต่ของที่ลาวแพงมากแต่เบียร์ลาวอร่อย
