Two minutes walk to thai consulate.

There's nothing wrong with the hotel, and the breakfast buffet is above standard from thai hotels in the same price class, but there's no restaurant at the hotel besides the breakfast and there's only a Pizza Company, and 2-3 restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Expect to pay 200-300 thb to get to the city center with all the restaurants and bars. If you go to Vientiane to visit the thai consulate and plan to stay more than 1-2 nights, I would suggest a hotel closer to the city center, and then use your taxi/tuk tuk money on the two trips to the consulate.

Hotel very noisy, due to the location of my room and the thinness of the walls, I heard the lift each time it moved, as well as the people. No do not disturb signs, so housekeeping would try to clean each day, making a lot of noise, but also allowing no opportunity to sleep in. Though I had breakfast included in the cost of my room, no details were given regarding it.

I was in Vientiane to obtain a visa from the Thai consulate. The consulate opens for visa applications at 0830 and that is the only reason why I decided to stay at this hotel. The hotel is opposite the consulate so I could crawl out of bed at 0815 and be there in 10 minutes LOL. The hotel is basic,clean and functional. I only saw two members of staff throughout my 20 hour stay.
