there are 5 dogs that live here but they are well be mannered so if you are an animal lover you will love it here.

Cozy guesthouse on a budget

nice guest house, average rooms with clean sheets. heater was not working though. service wise was okay, nothing amazing. gets a little quiet in the night except for the dogs barking. would not recommend for any one with cynophobia. did not try the food there but there a stalls around the area. would help if you could speak lao or thai.

There were hangers, soaps, toilet tissues, mineral water, TV, and towel.
Convenience store was near this guesthouse.
It was far from center of city, around 20 minutes on foot.
Staff was kind.
If you don't like dogs, you shouldn't stay.
There are around 5 big dogs, but they are like lambs.

Good guesthouse for value
The guesthouse is convenient to all areas, yet quiet and away from the bar scene. Noi,who runs the show is very kind and is always willing to make your stay a great one.

The family who own the guest house are wonderful. The courtyard is a great place to sit and relax. Walking distance to the Morning Market and other areas of interest.
If you don't like dogs and cats this is not the place for you. Mosquitos can be annoying.
Other than that, it's a very nice place to stay if you're planning to stay for a few days in Vientiane.

it is a nice & quite guest house, I knocked of 18 hours of sleep upon arrival in this simple guest house. basic facilities but far away from the noisy town. Hire a bike & you are 10 minutes away from the happening town full of travellers & nice restaurants.
The noodle store in front of the guest house serves the best pho I tasted in Vientiane.
Enjoy Lao Beer & bbq with your new friends from the guest house in their garden, it is such a relaxing & friendly place to escape!

Quiet and clean guest house

Our stay was enjoyable. The room was basic but ok for us. There's a nice seating area outside. There are 6 dogs, which is nice however the problems is that at night you cannot do anything downstairs without them barking. The manager is nice and speaks French.

The Guest House is located in a quiet side street. Finding it can be tricky as my Vientianne map did not show the street. Tuktuk driver knew the place and took me there.
Walking distance to some small shops, money exchange and some restaurants although renting a bicycle is recommended to get into town and for sightseeing. There is a bus stop on the main road with a bus (green bus No. 14) going to the Thai border / Buddha Park and to the main bus station / Morning Market.
The owner has several friendly cats and dogs that roam around the place.
Nice place if you want to get out of the busy city after a day out sightseeing.

budget guesthouse
very clean, quiet location, push bkes available on site

we had two very comfortable nights here in a spotlessly clean room with a fan. air con is available in some rooms for extra $$ but we didn't need it in september.
it's about 3km from the "tourist" centre of town so hire the bikes, which are available on site and brave the vientiane traffic.
the guesthouse is set at the end of a dead end street so it's very quiet. it is set around a court yard which would be pleasant to relax in during the early morning or late afternoon.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Print out a map of where the guest house is before you leave home. We had two out of two tuk tuk drivers get badly lost before we started using bikes.
