Top location, but noisy neighbours
One of the best views you can wish, very good breakfast, very good/friendly service.

we had a room with a balcony on the 3rd floor that offered an unforgettable view on the mekong river, night market and........... thailand. room was spacious but the neighbouring bar-disco was very loud, although each day it stopped at midnight sharp.
we recommend a room not adjacent to the bar (as we unfortunately got).
breakfast was super and so were the room facilities, except the shower that was a bit weak.
the hotel is well located at walking distance of good restaurants and most sights.
during our stay the lift was out of order.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Avoid a room adjacent to the bar-disco next door.

We3 had 4th floor room which kept us fit as lift still not working.

charming and well located

The location was a big bonus if you like to stroll around markets as the night market is right on the door step. The hotel is close to restaurant, bars and tour agents. The decorations around the hotel were quirky and we found them amusing. Wasn't a massive fan of the city.
Restaurant Tip:
The friends resturant a couple of streets away serves great food in aid of a good cause.

Poor Location but Mediocre Hotel

Location was very good, in front of the Mekong river and the Night Market. Rooms are big. The elevator still does not work... it seems that they do not plan to fix it. WiFi did not always work, on Sundays they do not have internet according to the staff.

Great Location and great value

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly, Breakfast was nice with an omelette station cooked to order. The location right on the river and just accross the street from the night market was perfect. Rent motorbikes a block away and explore the mekong! Most of Laos had elevators that didnt work and this place was no exception. The view from the 4th floor was worth the hike.
Restaurant Tip:
Khup Chai Deu (Thank you in Laos) is the name of a great Laos traditional restaurant that was very reasonably priced.

Really liked the range of decorations in the hotel, the friendly staff, and location.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Good bar next door on the top floor.
Wear a mask if you rent a moto.
Don't believe the directions people give you if you use English.
