The staff was friendly and made up for the down sides and junk shop atmosphere of the hotel

Luxury room ? must be a joke, bathtub for a dwarf and fitted by a half whit.
The entire hotel has the atmosphere of a junk shop not a Boutique Hotel.
Laud music from the bar next door until 12 at night and the room full of mosquitoes.
No mosquito net no repellant lamp, nothing.

Very pleasant stay from check-in to check-out.. courteous staff handle all requests very promptly. Hotel has made effort to give a cachet to the hotel by adding sculptures, handicrafts, furnitures, etc on each floor and room. Hotel is not new but very clean.. very quiet.
We enjoyed every moment at the Inter-City Hotel Vientiane. Minor improvements would make this hotel a great little boutique hotel.. Certainly we would select it again in Vientiane.

the hotel is located in the good location and you can use the Thai mobile phone without romming. But it is very old and drity. The quality of breakfast is very poor.
