A good hotel with maps available of the surrounding city.. not on open display, but available if you ask. Visa service also available but again you have to ask.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Everything was close by and a short walk or tuk-tuk ride would be enough to see the main sights

As you can see, my second stay (11 June '08) far surpassed my first one. I almost thought I walked into the wrong hotel!
Entering the lobby, a 'Welcome back!' greeted me with genuine smiles all round. How lovely!
Remembering the first experience, we considered an upgrade but was told our current room had a good view for a standard room. We decided to check out a deluxe room and our alloted room and was happily guided through by one lady and found the receptionist was right, we had a great room! (202)
It was spacious, well-decorated, clean, and had a small peak of the Mekong river (most standard rooms didn't have that). We were overjoyed when the aircon was also coupled with a room fan that wasn't needed because the aircon was working swell.
Subsequently, on our trips in and out of the hotel, the staff continuously greeted us with enthusiasm and one of them even joked with us that she was on her way to look for us for a drink after her work.
If this was the standard norm, we will gladly make this a confirmed stay on every visit!
