Nice and comfurtable
Clean, comfurtable room, well maintained
The hotel is small (around 20-25 rooms), without a pool or a gym. It's a nice small hotel. The room is comfortable, very clean, and well equipped. There are no windows, so unless you turn on the aircon, the air gets stuffy. There is cable TV with a number of English channels such as CNN, BBC and two movie channels. The room also has a comfortable bed, a place where you can work on your laptop, an electric kettle, a safe, a closet to hang your clothes, and some cups for coffee or water. Overall - a very nice room. Breakfast buffet was very basic: bacon, eggs, ham, a few Asian rice/noodle type dishes, plain bread, butter and jam. Nothing to write home about, but it will fill you stomach. Internet was not reliable, a few times I could not connect, and had to call the reception. After they restart their router it usually is ok. The hotel is very close to the bus station, and about 10-15 minutes walk from the river front, although you have to cross a busy street to get to the center. The Thai consulate is also not far - 15 minutes walk, or 2-3 minutes by tuk-tuk. Staff where friendly and speak reasonable English. Overall - good value for money.

Particularly large and light room
Large room; light room; great bathroom
Pleasant enough stay at clean, modern hotel with large light rooms and communal areas and with the breakfast included; at reasonable location for city sights

Nice, comfortable hotel, close to the bus station.
room design, size, location close to the bus station and local markets
This is very nice and comfortable city hotel with pretty design. The staff is nice and the breakfast is good. It is 5 min away from the bus station and local markets, about 20 min walking to the city center and 25-30 min to the riverside. Quite convenient if you want to get to the Thai embassy. The only issue I had about this hotel was very slow internet. Other than that very good value for money.

Nice hotel in a central location
Confortable rooms, design and good location.
We were treated very good since the beginning. The hotel is in a good location next to the day market and 10 minutes from the palace and the national museum. Room was very comfortable but we found lots of ants in the bed. Internet was very slow and most of the nights it was impossible to use it.

Large comfortable room
Room size, breakfast, internet
This was my second stay at the Lane Xang Princess. If you're coming by taxi make sure you don't get taken to the Lane Xang Hotel by mistake. As I was staying 2 nights I went for a suite room this time so we would have a window which you don't get in the other rooms. I thought the room was very good for the price. The bathroom is quite big and has a bathtub as well which I quite like. The shower is over the bath which is ok but it does mean the shower isn't as good as in the normal rooms. The breakfast is as good as before but now it's served on the 5th floor with a bit more room. There's a good choice including Asian and an American breakfast. I'm not sure if they have a buffet when the hotel is busier but they haven't either time I've been there.
