Centrally located hotel.
Friendly staff, great views from the top roof and design.
The hotel is located near the day market and you can walk to the river front. Staff was very friendly and they arranged transfers and bus tickets for us.

Nice hotel in a central location
Confortable rooms, design and good location.
We were treated very good since the beginning. The hotel is in a good location next to the day market and 10 minutes from the palace and the national museum. Room was very comfortable but we found lots of ants in the bed. Internet was very slow and most of the nights it was impossible to use it.

Large comfortable room
Room size, breakfast, internet
This was my second stay at the Lane Xang Princess. If you're coming by taxi make sure you don't get taken to the Lane Xang Hotel by mistake. As I was staying 2 nights I went for a suite room this time so we would have a window which you don't get in the other rooms. I thought the room was very good for the price. The bathroom is quite big and has a bathtub as well which I quite like. The shower is over the bath which is ok but it does mean the shower isn't as good as in the normal rooms. The breakfast is as good as before but now it's served on the 5th floor with a bit more room. There's a good choice including Asian and an American breakfast. I'm not sure if they have a buffet when the hotel is busier but they haven't either time I've been there.

No windows but nice room with comfy bed.
Comfy bed. Near the bus station. Good morne for money.
A good point for the bus station and a good place to walk to the Thai Embassy, about 15 minutes. The room doesn't have windows but its clean and quiet and the bed is really comfy. Not as central as others but its quiet and great value for money. Tip: When you pass through the border there are very cheap buses (donated by the Japanese) on the right hand side taking you to the bus station a few hundred metres from the hotel.

Adequate, cheap and close to the bus terminal
Breakfast was tasty, close to bus terminal, very cheap
The room we got was too far from the wifi access point so internet access on phone was a no go. There was a piece of broken glass from a light bulb on the floor, which I stood on in the night, luckily I wasn't cut. Otherwise, the rooms were clean enough. Rooms need to be aired better, the room had a bad smell, and no windows. Very dark at night, and the bed was comfortable, very easy to sleep in so have an alarm clock if you expect to catch any connections. Really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, even though it was simple. Great value for the price, I would stay again.

Lovely small hotel, room is big with high ceiling.
Clean, big room with high ceiling and nice breakfast.
I just hope that the staff should be train on customer service. Im not saying that they are not nice - after a small conversation when checking in and out nothing else comes out of their mouth not even greetings or a simple smile.

A comfortable stay
Location close to a main bus station and a few tourist sites, comfortable room, and good staff
Breakfast is served on the top floor in a room with glass panes that offer good panoramic views of the city. A good choice of a la carte breakfast was served on low occupancy days, but it was tasty & filling. On the whole the staff were doing a good job. Only the suite rooms have windows along one wall, but the view is nothing to shout about. Other rooms are windowless but otherwise comfortable & rather big. There was coffee making facility(but no tea sachets), 2 big flat TVs in suites & good air-conditioning. My stay there was very pleasant, & my guests were pleased with the room.

Clean place, comfortable room, & good staff
Convenient public transport, close to main market & shops, with neat & comfortable rooms.
Staff in general were efficient & helpful in every department. On the whole the rooms were comfortable with nice beds & flat TV, minibar items rather cheap, air-cond functioned well, and the suite had a long bath, with bath & face/ towels & toiletteries. However the room safe was out of order, & so was the lift on one or two occasions. A small buffet breakfast was served on Saturday when the hotel occupancy was high, but on other days a reasonable a la carte breakfast was offered.
